When it comes to a franchise as long as Marvelthere are an unimaginably large number of options to draw from comics, movies and TV when it comes to designing new maps. rivalry already features its fair share of X-Men, so it would make perfect sense for Xavier's Institute to make an appearance in this game, possibly as a dominance map. Moving between the inside of the school and the area around it while both teams try to capture multiple control points would work like a dream here.
The destructible environments presented in rivalry it could allow teams to get incredibly creative with the way they play, such as breaking through floorboards to move between building levels or crashing out of windows to reach the lush gardens of Mansion X.
8 Kingdom of Wakanda
A land of prosperity
The King of Wakanda himself is an established cast member of the game, it would be great to see this highly advanced nation featured as it would fit right in the rivals map list. The country is incredibly varied in terrainso implementing it as a convergence map would take full advantage of this potential.
The best-of-three game mode could see players battle it out in a series of arenas, among its sublime mountain ranges and dense jungles; in the complex infrastructure of the city; to the depths of the underground where its high-speed Maglev trains are kept.
7 Hammer Bay, Genosha
A riot for mutants
Located on the east coast of Africa, this fictional country serves as home to the city of Hammer Bay, where many X-Men were once held captive by the Genoshan Magistrate. The objective of the attackers here could be to capture the area and free the captive mutants, while the defenders try to hold down the site to prevent the eruption.
This also makes room for rivalryto do a Overwatch– teasing style for a new hero in the future, updating the map to have an X-Man or two mysteriously missing from their cells.
6 Muspelheim, Land of Fire
Duel in the depths of hell
Marvel Rivals already confirmed the inclusion of three Asgardian gods, as well as their home, Asgard, so it would make sense to see another of the Ten Realms introduced. And while they would all be more than worthy choices, this realm of eternal fire would add some nice visual variety to the game's map selection.

Star Lord's celestial father was the antagonist of the team's second adventure on the big screen, which they eventually defeated by detonating a bomb inside his brain.
Carrying an explosive to detonate at its core could act as the objective here as well, with Ego getting angrier with each control point captured by a player, asking players to stop and changing the environment around them.
4 The Lost City of Atlantis
A long forgotten land
The mutant Namor hasn't seen much airtime in recent X-Men projects, but experienced a resurgence in popularity since his MCU debut in 2022 Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. With this, there is a good chance that players will see this sunken kingdom come into the limelight Marvel Rivals as the king of Atlantis gets a map of his own.
Including Atlantis would probably imply the city rising from the water for our heroes to fight, or else it may be a little harder to play for some of the non-aquatic members of the rivalry' cast.
3 Xandar, Casa Nova Corps

With Timestream Entanglement completely changing the structure of the multiversean intergalactic force as powerful as the Nova Corps would likely be involved in such a dire situation. A battle that takes place on their homeland of Xandar would fit well here.
This could be done either with the location in its natural flourishing state, or as a result of an attack from invaders like Thanos or the Skrulls. This would also leave the potential for Richard Rider – better known as Nova – to join rivalry', which would be a welcome addition for many comic book fans.
2 Spider-HQ, New York
Siege of the Spider Society
Miles Morales has seen a lot of success recentlyboth of his animated films receiving praise from critics and fans alike. The Spider-Society house in Nueva York, which appeared in the second film, would fit perfectly into this list of multiverse maps.
The infrastructure of the base of society is absolutely stunning to look at, but could make for some incredibly interesting gravity-based map mechanics. With the third and final film in the trilogy set to be released in the coming years, this location could be released at the same time as the film, alongside a playable Miles himself.
1 Doomstadt, Latvia
Domicile of the Doctor
With Doctor Doom serving as the catalyst for the events of this game, his house in Latveria is sure to make an appearance at one point or another. Sieging Castle Von Doom would likely be the objective of the map, but the reason for this is largely dependent on the direction the game chooses to take its lore.
With the evil Victor Von Doom facing off against his 2099 counterpart in this game, the team has many options as to how they might want to depict the Doctor's realm. Either way, the meeting seems more than necessary and will be another welcome result of Doom's recent surge in popularity.
