The best weekly bosses in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is known for being unique and captivating weekly boss fights which is directly related to tradition. While these enemies have an important meaning in the game's story, they have also become household names when it comes to the climax Genshin Impact combat system. These weekly boss fights are released sporadically, making their arrival an important feature in any update.

These unusually powerful enemies feature unique and engaging abilities, majestic arenas, and beautiful soundtracks that really sell their status as enemies not to be confused with. Starting today, ten weekly boss battles are available for players to challenge, each offering a thrilling experience.

10 Terror of the Dvalin Storm

The former King of Heaven

Terror of the Dvalin Storm

Terror of the Dvalin Storm has the unfortunate honor of coming last on this list. The first weekly boss introduced to the game alongside Andrius, the Dvalin boss fight has not aged well over the years. It's just too easy a fight these days due to the plethora of characters available that can take care of Dvalin with ease.

Even casual players with a relatively decent team should have no trouble beating Dvalin. While it's a visually cool boss fight, the laughable difficulty and lack of skill expression make it the least interesting weekly boss in the game.

9 Andrew

Dominator of Wolves

Andrew

As mentioned earlier in the list, Andrew is the oldest weekly boss in the game, alongside Dvalin, having been released in version 1.0. Like Dvalin, Andrius' difficulty has decreased over the years. Dominator of Wolves is nothing more than a DPS check these days, one that is easily beaten by a half-decent team.

The arena, the soundtrack, and Andrius' stature make this a cool standoff. However, it's very easy to defeat, and the boss fight shouldn't take more than two minutes for most players.

8 CHILD

The eleventh of Fatu's vestiges

CHILD

CHILD was easily the hardest boss fight when his Trounce domain was released in version 1.1. It was so hard for players back then that HoYoverse adjusted the boss fight difficulty. From then on, the Childe boss fight was one of the easiest fights in the entire game. Almost any team can defeat the eleventh Fatui Harbinger with no problem.

One of the advantages of this fight is that it's a traditional 1v1 with very few moments where Childe becomes invulnerable. It's a classic, simple duel between enemies, but that's the most it has to offer, as it pales in comparison to other weekly bosses of a similar nature.

7 Guardian of Apep's Oasis

Wrath of Sovereign Dendro

Guardian of Apep's Oasis

Guardian of Apep's Oasis is one of the newest weekly bosses in the game, having been released in version 3.6 as part of the second chapter of the Nahida story quest. The arena this fight takes place in is gorgeous, but the battle itself is more boring than enjoyable.

A good half of the battle is spent dealing with mobs that threaten the revitalization of the Heart of the Oasis. Once this is done, the second phase of the boss fight begins, which is nothing special either. It's one of the weaker models in terms of boss fights and doesn't bring anything new to the table.

6 Azhdaha

Sealed Lord of Vishaps

Azhdaha

Azhdaha is one of the most majestic boss fights in Genshin Impact. The grandiose soundtrack and the intimidating presence of Zhongli's former friend make this a very entertaining battle. However, a major problem with this boss fight is how often Azhdaha can become invulnerable, forcing players to wait.

Additionally, Azhdaha has a very limited moveset despite being able to harness various items. All of these factors make Azhdaha the only sixth best weekly boss in the game, despite being one of the best bosses visually.

5 Eternal lord of arcane wisdom

Shouki No Kami, Waster

Eternal lord of arcane wisdom

Eternal Lord of Arcane Wisdommore commonly known as scaramoucheis easily one of the biggest weekly bosses in the game. While the first phase of this boss fight is nothing to write home about, the real deal starts to come in the second phase.

Scaramouche is able to summon powerful attacks, including a one-shot ability that players will have to respect. However, this boss fight has a unique feature where Neo Akasha's terminal will constantly damage Scaramouche.

Additionally, much of this boss fight is spent running to avoid attacks, with the Neo Akasha terminal doing most of the work in terms of dealing damage. The Scaramouche boss fight is a grand spectacle that is let down by its largely non-interactive nature.

4 At Signora's

Rostam's lover

At Signora's

At Signora's is a very well designed boss fight with two distinct phases. The first phase features the Sheer Cold mechanic, while the second phase sees La Signora become the Crimson Witch of Embers, complete with a new set of fire moves.

Both phases have great music and movesets that feel rewarding to duel you. Signora also has minimal invulnerability in both phases. This boss fight is one of the best designed battles in the game; a perfectly simple but effective example.

3 The All-Devouring Narwhal

Surtalogi's animal

The All-Devouring Narwhal

If the La Signora boss fight was simple, the confrontation with The All-Devouring Narwhal it is anything but that. Fighting this giant of a creature that constantly flies around is a little annoying, but the sheer beauty of the beast and the arena makes up for it. While it doesn't have the best moveset by any means, there is a sense of grandeur when fighting the Narhwal.

The second phase is the main reason why this boss fight is so high on the list. Otherworldly dubstep music and the highly immersive design of the Shadow Warrior inside the Narwhal make it an intense 1v1. When combining both phases, third place on this list feels like a fair position for the All-Devouring Narwhal.

2 Cracker

Father of the Hearth House

Cracker

Cracker secures the second spot on this list because it is an extremely simple yet effective duel. There are no complicated mechanics to worry about; it is only a test of strength, set by the fourth fortune-teller Fatui Arlecchino.

The first phase has no standout features, but it still has Arlecchino pulling off some flashy moves. The second phase, where Arlecchino becomes Cinder of Two Worlds' Flames, really ramps up the intensity of the boss fight. Arlecchino can deal ridiculous damage and wipe out characters in one fell swoop if players aren't careful.

It's still a fair fight though, as proper dodging and finding windows to deal damage can eventually take her down. For these reasons, the latest weekly boss from Genshin Impact it is also one of the best.

1 Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto

Raiden No Inazuma Tono

Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto

Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto, or Raiden Shogun boss fight, is still the best weekly boss in Genshin Impact, and has been since its release in version 2.5. The unique fighting framework, the two phases and a multitude of moves make this a very addictive and fun fight. The rock-based soundtrack with Inazuma's leitmotif adds even more to the overall atmosphere of the fight.

Both phases of this boss fight have a wide variety of moves that make them stand out from the rest. This was the first weekly boss to introduce a one-shot mechanic and is one of the most stunning visuals in the game.

Almost everything about the Raiden Shogun boss fight is executed to perfection. It also manages to strike a perfect balance in terms of difficulty, making it a very accessible weekly boss for all players to enjoy.
