AFL Brownlow Medal 2023: Who will win, favourites, votes, predictions, start time, how to stream, Daicos, Bontempelli, Butters, Petracca

Attention may be turning to the AFL Grand Final, but before that lands it’s the AFL’s night of nights that will steal the show.

The game’s highest individual honour, along with a multitude of other awards, will be handed out on Monday night at Crown Casino in Melbourne.

With a host of big name stars once again vying to be the name read out as the Brownlow Medal winner, here’s everything you need to know ahead of Monday night’s count.

HOW TO WATCH AND STREAM THE BROWNLOW MEDAL

Channel 7 is the only place to catch the action live with proceedings getting underway at 7:30pm (AEST) in Melbourne.

It is also available to be streamed on 7Plus or via the AFL Live app.

WHEN IS THE BROWNLOW MEDAL?

The Brownlow Medal will be held on Monday September 25, the traditional slot at the start of the week leading into the grand final.

Coverage will kick off from 7.30pm (AEST), with the count to then get under way from 8pm.

WHO WILL WIN THE 2023 BROWNLOW MEDAL?

Collingwood’s Nick Daicos enters as the favourite after effectively leading the race for the bulk of the season.

Western Bulldogs superstar Marcus Bontempelli is close behind and could snare the award with a barnstorming finish to the season when Daicos was out injured.

Port Adelaide’s Zak Butters is third on most betting markets after a blockbuster breakout season. He secured the AFL Coaches Association Player of the Year award and Channel 9’s Sunday Footy Show’s Lou Richards Medal.

Melbourne’s Christian Petracca is the fourth horse in the race after another stellar season from the midfield bull.
