Colorful Festival Gacha (JP 2.5 Anniversary)

This card features Kagamine Rin in a hospital looking over the hospital bed of a fan. The Trained version of it is a treat with gorgeous art of Rin in a white dress holding white flowers, sadly symbolizing the fan has passed away. The skill of the card is just as amazing as the art, with the ability to boost your score by 140 percent at max level.

It is a bit tricky to use as you have to keep your life above 1,000 to get the full benefits of the score boost. Otherwise, it is reduced by one percent for every ten life lost with it capping at a 90 percent boost for anything under 800 life. When paired with a couple of healer skills in your team, this skill is very powerful for gaining S-Ranks and high scores, but the downside does require you to be playing near perfectly and not missing any notes.

In this one’s Trained version, she is in a dreamland wearing a Hagoromo with traditional Japanese maiden braids to match. The skill for this card is specific but useful for fans of Leo / Need, boosting your score for each member of the band in your team.

On its own, it has the base ability of boosting your score by 100 percent for five seconds, but gets a bonus of ten percent for each band member, which can be great for people who love all the band and have collected a bunch of their cards. This effect can stack between cards and works well with the items that you can buy in the School Sekai, which boosts each member’s points and skills.

There is an additional effect that makes this skill much stronger for songs where you can consistently hit Perfects. For the duration of the skill, if you don’t hit a Good or lower note, then you will gain a 140 percent bonus increase instead. This is the highest that most skills cap at and so having it for free as long as you perform well is a great risk versus reward if you want this skill.

The Virtual Singers are always helping the other characters, and in this card we get to see Megurine Luka helping Akiyama Mizuki in the Empty Sekai, which then transforms into Luka resting in the rain in the Trained version. Many of the card skills are quite easy to mix and match into a combination that works for you, but some, such as this one, require you to use specific characters.

.

The skill is very powerful, but it requires you to have all of your team members to be members of the 25-ji, Nightcord de band to fully make use of the power of the effect. Each member, including this card itself, will boost your score by ten percent. With its base 100 percent boost, this means it can reach the highest multiplier of 150 percent, which few other skills reach. If you have other strong Nightcord members, this is a must-use if you want to get easy S-Ranks.

It features Hanasato Minori with angel-like wings in a phenomenal composition, standing over a shining ocean and bright blue light sparkling all over her. The skill for this card is very straightforward, but it provides an effect that is handy for any team.

This skill gives a 120 percent bonus score for five seconds when activated. This is a basic effect that, while simple, has its benefits, and because of that, it is a card that can be easily slotted into any team. It’s especially useful where you just need one more strong member, but don’t have another one who fits into the event theme, or when it’s simply one that works well with the bonus you have on your other members.

The broken mind of Asahina Mafuyu is one of the most deep and touching characters in Colorful Stage and in this card we get to see of that. The art has her practicing her archery skills on a lone winter day, and becomes even more bleak in the Trained version where she is giving an empty smile towards a shattered camera. At max level, this skill is a more powerful but risky version of the skill that boosts your score by 120 percent. While the extra ten percent can add a huge amount of bonus points, only getting points from Perfects can really mess you up if you start getting Greats or worse exactly when it activates. On songs where you know you can get Perfect hits all the way through, this skill is worth the risk and can give you a massive burst of points when it activates.

Skill

As Long As I Have This Pain (Life Recovery)

Gacha

Here Comes The Challenger Gacha

Here comes Azusawa Kohane in a Limited Gacha card with her ready to take on the world. The Trained art features popping colors and a bright background that looks just like a giant graffiti mural. Many skills focus on providing support through point bonuses, but these mean nothing when you are struggling to beat the track. For this you need cards like this one, which can recover upto 500 life.

Healer skills such as this one are almost required in every team, especially if you are attempting to clear any of the Expert or Master difficulty songs. They can carry you through any tough songs by healing your life, making it so you don’t have to perfectly hit every note and can slip up a few more times. With how ridiculous so many of the hardest songs can get, this is a nice option for you to not have to fully master every part of the sometimes unfair tracks.

Gacha

Hello Sekai Magical Meetings Gacha

Many of the wonderful Colorful Stage X Sanrio collaboration cards are very strong, but this cute as heck one featuring Tenma Saki and Pompompurin has one of the strongest skills if you need help with full combos. The skill for the card is called Let Friendship Ring and has the effect of making all notes except misses to be registered as Perfect hits.

This lasts for seven seconds, which can be a saving grace that protects you in dire times though rough parts of a track that you swear is possible but cannot muster the strength to pass. It also has the secondary effect of boosting your score by 100 percent for five seconds to capitalize off all the Perfect notes you hit while it is active, giving you a giant score increase while protecting your Perfect combo.
