Black Ops 6 reveals wild new skins coming to the store

Developer Treyarch has revealed several premium skins appearing in the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The Black Ops 6 Skin packs will be offered in the in-game store and include special effects and weapon models.

With the newly released game globally, season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is almost ready to launch on November 14, 2024. Along with it will come a new and redesigned Battle Pass that will allow players to earn rewards by playing the game and spending tokens earned by completing matches and challenges. Rewards include in-game skins for existing characters as well as Goliath, an all-new playable operator.

Zombie players will be able to buy GobbleGums with real-world money with the official release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1.

Along with Black Ops 6 Season 1 Battle Pass, Treyarch has also published an official Call of duty Blog post detailing the premium Tracer packs and other skin packs coming to the store for players to purchase. Some of the packs include special “Ultra” skins that have enhanced effects and particularly striking visual themes.

While new Black Ops 6 weapons and operators are included in the Battle Pass, Season 1 will add a total of 9 premium Tracer Packs to the in-game store. These packs will contain operator skins and weapon sketches, as well as accessories such as cosmetic reticles, finishing moves, business cards and emblems. Four of the Tracer packs will contain Ultra Skins: The Parasite Warrior, Eternal Hunter, G'Day Bait and Kick Some Brass packs. Each emphasizes a different “wild” theme, and the respective operator skins have particularly exaggerated effects.


For example, the Ultra “Volatile” skin of the Eternal Hunter pack for Rossi turns the operator into a vampire with a bloody mouth and glowing red eyes. The Ultra “Merciless” skin for Nazir of the Kick Some Brass pack transforms the operator into a steam-powered soldier with brass armor and a stylized gas mask helmet. Kick Some Brass also includes a Mastercraft Melee model for a “Chainblade” weapon with a custom weapon inspection and other effects.

The most “wild” Ultra Skins are designed for the Carver operator. The “Host” in the Parasite Warrior deck, which turns Carver into a grotesque alien victim by covering him in bloody tentacles, and the “Bloke Biter” in the G'Day Bait Tracer deck turns him into a shark-person somewhat reminiscent of of Suicide Squad the character King Shark. Sharkskin falls in line with other popular moderns Call of duty premium skins like the “CODasaurus” skin from Modern warfare 3 era that turned players into dinosaur-headed soldiers.
