Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies has gone above and beyond for new players
One of the biggest attractions of Call of duty franchise as a whole is that it's fairly accessible to newcomers, with its quick, pick-up-and-play arcade style of gameplay that encourages new players to jump in and try just a few rounds. This is especially true for Call of dutyIts Zombies mode, with its round-based system, constant progression, and replayable nature, is a natural fit for new players looking to have fun in a cooperative, non-competitive way.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has gone out of its way to try and make its own version of Zombies as accessible as possible for newcomers. One of the biggest ways to do this is through the design of the Liberty Falls map. Liberty Falls has a fairly simple two-lane layout, its Pack-a-Punch machine is easy to find and use, and the map's power is automatically turned on from the start, meaning players can immediately acquire any Perk-a- Cola meet.
Black Ops 6However, its accessibility doesn't stop with Liberty Falls. In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6Season 1's update, Directed Mode has been added to Zombies. This guided mode takes players through Liberty Falls and Terminus' main easter eggs step by step, limiting the round count and wave difficulty if players have not yet completed a specific objective. For years, fans have had to keep an eye on a Crawler while trying to follow a guide to complete it Call of Duty ZombiesEaster eggs, but now they finally have a way to experience that guided process in-game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies could use the Bank feature from BO2
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 tried to introduce some innovative new ideas for Zombies and unfortunately only a few remained. Black Ops 2Bank's tenure was one of those unfortunate never to return. Available on TranZit, Die Rise and Buried, players could find a bank hidden somewhere on the map. This bank had two shiny keys inserted into a cash register or lock box or, in Die Rise's case, a shower.
Turning one of these keys would deposit 1000 player points and turning the other would withdraw 1000 points. This Bank feature allowed players to store their points for future matches and transfer points between the three compatible maps. Players could also split points using a Pack-a-Punched Ballistic Knife, a Bowie Knife, or a pair of Galvaknuckles on a separate set of keys. Doing so would allow them to spend 1000 points to generate a bonus points bonus of the same value, which a teammate could enter.
Black Ops 2Bank's feature would be a great addition to Black Ops 6Zombies Mode, giving players a way to directly help new players and teammates who may not have much experience with the mode and all of its different progressions and currency systems. A Bank feature would fit right at home with the Liberty Falls layout, as the map already contains a vault.
