Not only did author Tite Kubo add an all-new fight scene between Ichigo and Uryuu, but he also gave Uryuu a brand new Vollständig never seen before in the manga. Now clad in blue reishi armor and wings, Uryuu shows how powerful he has become as Sternritter A. Uryuu's resolution to the conflict

Quincy Vollständig is the highest form of Quincy's power. It is in this state that Quincy truly reach the full potential of their Schrift. As previously seen with Äs Nodt or Bambietta Basterbine, the user's Schrift abilities are amplified to their highest form. And while this is certainly the case with Uryuu as well, since he hasn't officially revealed his Schrift, he hasn't used it against Ichigo. Instead, he uses a much greater form of Quincy's bow and arrow abilities.

Uryuu activates his Vollständig as other Sternritters do, with a holy light pillar and church bells. After the pillar of harsh light shatters, it reveals Uryuu in this new form. He now has reishi armor on his ankles and wrists. So is an arrowhead above his heart. And like all other Quincy, he now possesses a pair of reishi wings. But it obviously lacks the usual halo that other Quincy displayed.

Main Ability, Long Range Arrows

Uryuu Vollständig's primary ability appears to be the use of hundreds of flying arrowheads that he commands with hand gestures. They mostly shoot reishi lasers at Uryuu's target, and he can command them from great distances to track down his enemy. These arrowheads wielded by Uryuu create an endless barrage of projectiles that are barely defended by Ichigo. Due to Ichigo's incredible speed, he can deflect several of these blows at once, but even still, the lasers' onslaught is sometimes too much for even the powerful soul reaper.

Uryuu then joins several of these arrowheads to form a reishi cage around Ichigo. This seems to fully capture his enemies until Uryuu activates it to create a massive explosion that forms a Quincy Cross.

Sternenstaub, Uryuu's most powerful blast

This appears to be Uryuu's strongest technique in this form. He manifests a large Quincy bow on his open palm and then, creating an arrow in his other hand, creates a massive Quincy cross-shaped projectile. This attack, which translates to “Stardust”, is powerful enough to collide with Ichigo's Getsuga Juujisho and hold him for a while. But still, Ichigo's strongest attack finally destroys this gigantic technique.

It is important to remember that this form and all of its techniques are new to both anime and manga fans. And that there is still information and understanding of Uryuu's new power that can be seen in the Thousand Year Blood War anime. The fact is that it paved the way for the anime to really show how powerful Uryuu has become since gaining his new abilities as the Sternritter.
