The right strategy for any tower defense game means selecting the right units. In Bloons TD 6, the most important of these choices is the hero tower.

Banana farming is one of the most essential skills to learn Bloons TD 6because harder modes like Impoppable require players to have more money on hand than is available just by popping bloons. This makes banana farming important, but what do the different types of banana farms do and which one is the best?

Updated on November 20, 2024 by Chris Harkin: Although Bloons TD 6 is constantly being updated, and the different apps and perks of the different upgrades change over time, the banana farm has remained pretty much the same since the beginning. The three different paths remain pretty much the same, with some slight changes that may have affected where they are best and when they are appropriate. However, banana farms are one of the most important parts of Bloons TD 6 and players should not forget about these towers just because they don't shoot bloons like most other towers. Financial freedom is extremely useful in a new game.

Banana Central

The complete banana making machine

The middle banana path, or the top banana farm path, is all about increasing the number of bananas generated and how much money is earned per round. As a standard 0-0-0 farm, four bunches of bananas worth 20 each will be produced each round, for a total of 80. As the upgrade paths along the top path are chosen, the farm will spawn 120 per round at first, then 160. Banana plantation level will spawn 320 per round. The Banana Research Facility increases the volume to 1500, and the Banana Power Plant at the end of this path gives at least 6000. This is a massive amount that is easier to collect because it comes in large boxes instead of individual bunches of bananas.

Bloons Tower Defense 6 has monkey lore perks that help players advance, but which bloons TD 6 monkey lore is the best?

It may seem counterintuitive that the banana plant must be the best path, because banana farms are specifically designed to create more cash flow, and this is the path that creates the most money. But it depends a lot on the game mode, which banana farm path is actually the desired one. Players must remember that if they use this route, they will have to constantly collect these bananas, which can be extremely frustrating to do constantly for some players. Fortunately, there are ways to avoid this, such as using the banana grower powers in most modes. Also, a cross path with the bottom will allow players more time to collect their bananas before they degrade, which can be a big assist for players trying to focus on many things in their game.

Monkey-Nomics

The perfect tool for big payouts

The middle path of the banana farm leads to Monkey-Nomics, another kind of money-making tower. While the collection of bananas from the farms may frustrate some players, the middle path leads to a bank-style tower that holds all the bananas inside as they are produced. The player will only be able to collect them manually when the bank fills up to 7,000 (or 9,500 with additional monkey knowledge upgrades). Players should make sure to unlock the right upgrades in the support section of Monkey Knowledge so they can get the most out of the interest earned from this path.

This path has easy access because there is much less thinking about collecting bananas to do. The bank also uses interest to get bananas faster than other methods could in the same amount of time. Importantly, the tier four IMF loan also comes with a power that allows players to go into debt but earn 10,000 cash right away. The level five power of Monkey-Nomics enhances this ability so that it no longer binds the player; instead, it simply offers 10,000 cash up to twice per spin. Additionally, the bank can now carry up to 10,000 cash (12,500 with monkey knowledge). This is a huge amount of money and involves less hands-on action on the part of the player than manually collecting every banana that leaves the farm. The interest earned over time, as long as players let the bank work until it reaches capacity, is a big win that can provide money worth of huge upgrades to other towers in one fell swoop.

Monkey Wall Street

No hassles or hassles, merchant combos

The market way is another very different way to make money, but it can be just as useful to others in certain situations. A market will automatically generate bananas and add the money to the player's total without the player having to do anything. This takes a lot of stress and thinking out of farming and is ideal for players who often forget to collect their bananas or empty their banks. Central Markets will increase the amount of money earned and have the added value of increasing the revenue generated by Merchantman craft if players want to spread their revenue generating towers.

At first, any monkey is valid in Bloons TD 6. But on higher difficulties and maps, only a few towers are worth the time and investment.

Monkey Wall Street has the value of a smooth farm style. It generates a lot of life for players who slide easily and drain a few bloons each round, and works especially well with other farming types like Merchantmen. It can be difficult to counter this style on water heavy maps where not as many farms can be placed, but a lot of merchants can be placed. While the bottom lane won't add more money than other farms, the bonus to what Merchantmen spawns can make it a useful Unforgettable technique for water maps, of which there are more and more with each new update in Bloons TD 6.

Subjective, but there is an answer

It can be difficult for players to choose which of these three paths to follow because of how much the game changes. On watery maps, placing a central market is a great idea, as Merchantmen can be used for most agricultural work. In an intense game mode that requires fast money, the top lane is a great idea because of the high income it produces quickly.

Of course, if players go deeper into the late game, they'll likely want all three tier 5 options, but the most useful one in this case is likely to be Monkey-Nomics. The power can be used up to twice per round, generating a massive 20,000 cash each round. Players should try different farming strategies and get used to using them all, especially if they want to master some of the more difficult playstyles like boss rounds. Farming in boss rounds is an incredibly difficult task that will likely involve at least two of the three farm types used.

However, if players are looking for a basic answer as to which of the three paths is usually the most profitable and useful, the answer is likely to be the top path, Banana Central. This path brings in the most money, though at the cost of keeping an eye on the boxes and collecting them as they come out for maximum profit. Because of this, Banana Central and the top path can be considered the best of the banana farm options, especially if players use a banana grower power to collect the bananas for them, giving them a lot of freedom while still getting the amount maximum extra money. . However, players should remember that the best time to farm is also important to consider, not just which path to take. Waiting until the mid game so the early towers are down and can handle any type of bloon is usually the best strategy.
