A Call of Duty: Warzone leak revealed that Verdansk may return to Battle Royale in Season 3. Since its release Call of Duty: WarzoneVerdansk has become a fan-favorite location, and players will be able to explore it again soon.
When Call of Duty: Warzone was released during the lifetime of Call of Duty: Modern WarfareVerdansk was the only map that players could explore. Points of interest in Verdansk included the city center, the airport, the Boneyard, and the suburbs. Verdansk has since returned with his release Warzone Mobile, which limited the potential player base as consoles and PCs were excluded. While it was the first standard Warzone Map, Verdansk has been replaced by Pacific Caldera, Al Mazrah, Urzikstan, Vondel and Verdansk '84. Although Verdansk '84 included some key similarities to the original location, it featured a unique aesthetic and lacked certain landmarks such as the Gora Dam. With many players anticipating the return to Verdansk, a recent leak may boost excitement for the battle royale.

Call of duty news office Charlie Intel recently tweeted about Verdank's return to Warzone in Season 3 thanks to a leak from user TheGhostofHope. While Verdansk 84' changed the map in significant ways and relied on Black Ops: Cold Warthe location being teased has more in common with the original. Similar to Black Ops 6 Season 1, Season 3 of Warzone it will overlap with the main game, which can lead to an influx of players when it drops. Call of Duty: Warzone Leak Hints Verdansk Return in Season 3
Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 will begin on all platforms on January 28th at 9:00 AM PT. Based on this, Season 1 will have been 54 days long, potentially setting a standard timeframe for Season 2 and subsequent major content drops. Season 2 is expected to include Ricochet anti-cheat improvements and may feature new modes, events, and more. While it currently doesn't have a release date, fans are anticipating a spring release for Season 3. This means, if the leak is to be believed, that Verdansk could return to Warzone in March.
Since Verdansk's return is based on a leak, his return should be taken with a grain of salt until confirmed by Activision or Treyarch. Activision keeps updating Black Ops 6 and Warzonewhich will ensure that new content will reach both clients, regardless of whether Verdansk returns or not.
