During “Jabul Waters Rift” the main mission in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Zelda will encounter a small rift sequence in Quiet Upper Zora River. The entire section splits into a smaller main quest titled “Chaos at Zora River Village,” which essentially serves as a sub-quest that branches off of the main quest. These smaller rift sequences appear several times in Echoes of wisdom, with the aim of locating Tri's friends in the rift staying the same every time.
Closing Quiet Upper Zora River the rift is the main task that Zelda and Tri will take on in “Chaos at Zora River Village.” Ultimately, this serves as half of the main quest that leads to Jabul Ruins Dungeon. Tri will need help locating five of their friends in the Still World, and Zelda will be happy to oblige. This guide will help players complete “Haos at Upper Zora River” with a focus on locating Tri's friends in Quiet Upper Zora River.
How to enter the quiet upper Zora River in Echoes of Wisdom
During “Jabul Waters Rift” main quest, Zelda will have to interact with both Sea Zora and River Zora. After doing so, they will both meet together at Lord Jabu-Jabu's lair. However, because the leaders of each tribe are at odds, Jabu-Jabu gets angry when he tries to play music. It is possible that nothing could have calmed Jabu-Jabu as he ended up being an impostor. After getting angry, Jabu-Jabu heads north Zora River Village. Head north to start “Chaos at Zora River Village”.
Enter the Rift:
Regardless of whether you use Echoes of wisdomhis fast travel system or walk up to the village, as soon as you arrive there will be a short cutscene marking the beginning of the quest. The first objective is to locate Dradd, the leader of River Zora. To find it, head to the opening in the rocky cliff behind the damaged huts Zora River Village.
You won't be able to see the path, but turn right to reach the upper level. Continue west until you see Kusharathe head Sea Zora and a young River Zora. They will stand in front of the entrance to the rift, and Zelda will discover that Dradd, along with young Zora's father, have both been stolen by the rift.
Tri mentions that there are even more friends inside the rift, asking Zelda to go in and retrieve them. Interact with the rift entrance to enter Quiet Upper Zora River.
All locations of Tri's friends in the quiet upper Zora River – Echoes of Wisdom
It has three five friends in Stilled Upper Zora River. They are spread throughout the rupture. There is no specific order in which you must collect them, so you can follow this list in any order you choose.
Tri's Friend 1:
To find Tri's first friendhead east on the wooden planks, then go south along the old pillars. Jump to the ledge made of wooden logs. From this platform you can look east and see the first friend sitting on another pillar.
There are probably more ways to get to the pillar, but I used four Echoes of the old bed to create an ascending bridge. Once you reach the pillar, interact with the glowing orb to free Tri's friends.
Friends of Tri 2:
Tri's friend 2 it is found in a small cave that can be entered by heading to the east end of the rift. From friend one, swim up the channel where the pillar comes out of, then head right to the top. You encounter two Octoroks firing projectiles. You can either remove them or just pass them and use a Mass or trampoline to reach the upper ledge and the cave entrance.
Entering the cave will put Zelda into a 2D sequence. Use a Bombfish to destroy the blocks blocking your path, then head to the bottom of the pool.
Head west and you'll see the second friend in a small corridor that's obstructed by another breakable block. Use another one Bombfish and collect Friend two.
Tri's Friend 3:
As you make your way to the exit of the cave containing the second friend, you will encounter a Shadow Tektite. These jumping enemies can be very annoying. To defeat him easily, summon a flying Echo, like a Coolthen use League to hold the Tektite in place. Guay will easily destroy the Tektite, revealing The third friend.
Tri's Friend 4:
After exiting the cave, head west, back the way you came. As you approach the platform with the gold circle exit, don't jump onto it. Instead, use the tree above the circle to reach the upper level.
You'll see a large structure just above the platform where you started, with a water channel for Zelda to swim through.
Go to the top of the platform and turn left. You will meet right away Friend four next to Draddhis frozen body.
Friend of Tri 5:
From friend four, go back to the starting platform. Head west and follow the water channels until you see Friend Five floating in a small pool at the end. Collect Tri's ultimate friend
After all five

have been collected, Tri will automatically bring Zelda to the exit. There he will win approx

power to the next level. He will also award Zelda with

Ending the chaos at Zora River Village in Echoes of Wisdom
Once that Quiet Upper Zora River the rift is closed, Kushara and Dradd will share a short conversation. This moment will be the first step towards mending their fractured relationship, which will eventually allow them to open the way to the Jabul Ruins dungeon.
There will be no more quest loads as closing the rift was the major objective of this small main quest.
