When it takes this long for a second season to be announced, it usually means that the results didn't quite meet initial expectations, but were good enough for other companies to be interested in investing in a new season. Silver Link and Connect studios may not be returning to animate the sequel, but no staff has been announced (it's reasonable to be prepared for changes in the main staff as well). The main cast is unlikely to be changed.

). In the plot, Ichiro Suzuki is a working programmer
in the gaming industry. His job is to fix bugs in two MMORPGs his company plans to release. After overworking himself for an entire weekend, he finds himself in a different world, which is quite similar to the game worlds. His name now is Satou Pendragon, his beta-test nickname, and he can access a menu screen. After being ambushed but luckily winning the battle, he jumps from level 1 to level 310, becoming one of the strongest people in the world/game. Not knowing how to return to normal life, he decides to go on an adventure in this new universe after forming his own party (as in
a typical isekai harem, one full of ex-slave girls).
