The latest in a long line of great AAA Xbox Game Pass releases, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle kicked off December's Game Pass lineup in style and will be joining it soon Hunt: Showdown 1896, For king 2and Wild frost. Together, these games round out Xbox Game Pass 2024 nicely. But there could be a few more surprises up Xbox's sleeve, and they could be revealed in dramatic fashion at this year's Game Awards, which airs on December 12.

Xbox usually has a strong presence at the Game Awards
As the Game Awards show has continued to gain popularity over the years, Xbox Game Pass' presence during the ceremony has gradually increased. The 2021 Game Awards ceremony has taken place Somerville, Trek to Yomi, Plague Tales: Requiemand Sniper Elite 5 they're all announced, along with confirmation that they'll be coming to Xbox Game Pass. The Game Awards has also been frequently used as a stage for Xbox to reveal and re-reveal its primary titles, the vast majority of which come to Xbox Game Pass on day one. Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 was featured during several Game Awards ceremonies prior to the launch of Xbox Game Pass earlier this year. Two of the biggest surprises of the 2023 Game Awards show were Hideo Kojima O.D and Arkane's Marvel's Bladeboth being Xbox projects and both likely coming to Game Pass when they eventually launch.
What Xbox could announce at the Game Awards 2024
The chances of Xbox having a strong presence at this year's Game Awards ceremony are pretty high, and so are the chances of more Game Pass announcements. Between its primary studios, Activision-Blizzard, Bethesda, and all of its third-party partners, Xbox has a lot of irons in the fire right now, some of which could come up during the Game Awards 2024 on December 12.

The same goes for Rebellion's Atomfallto be released in March. Then there are games like Fable, Doom: The Dark Ages, FBC: Firebreak, South of midnight, The Altersand Towerborneall of which are scheduled for 2025, but have no concrete launch dates. Any of these upcoming Game Pass titles could appear during the Game Awards.
It is also rumored that the flagship Xbox franchise, Halocould be about to announce something. Recent leaks suggest a Halo: Combat Evolved the remake using Unreal Engine 5 could be in development, and while all leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, it would be great to see it come to fruition at this year's Game Awards.
