Stilled Desert Temple Ruins Walkthrough – Echoes of Wisdom
Once you enter the ruins, go to the northern platform, go over the fallen tree, and then enter the ladder on the right.
Tri Friend #1 location
This will take you to a 2D segment of the Echoes of wisdom, where you'll find yellow platforms with eyes that move up and down. Take the path to the left and you'll see Tri's friend trapped in a purple substance. However, there will be two yellow platforms on top of each other, making it difficult to get to Tri.
Fortunately, you can use your Binds X button movement to pull one of the platforms. You can slide it anywhere you want – as long as the second platform is out of the way. Now, you should be able to jump onto the single platform on the left and be transported to Tri's friend.
Tri Friend Location #2
Leave the underground area and jump to the large floating piece of land on the right. You will see a piranha swimming sideways in the sand. Jump on the platforms next to the fish and use some beds to get to the upper platform.
When you reach the top, head to the right to find a lonely island with a boulder emitting purple energy. Use some beds to reach the far platform. Just push the rock to find Tri's friend.
Tri Friend Location #3
Walk to the left of the previous location until you can jump onto a new piece of land. From there, head north to find another sand wall turned on its side. I used a combination of bed echoes and the trampoline to get to the top of the structure and then dropped onto Tri's friend in the lower left of the area.
Tri Friend Location #4
Now head left from the previous Tri location to find one on top of a tree trunk. I simply used two beds and a trampoline to get to this one.
Tri Friend Location #5
And for the last Tri location in the Temple Ruins of the Quiet Desert, just head south from the fourth friend. You'll find a tall pole with the last friend on top, but it's too tall to use beds and trampolines. There are certainly easier ways to do this, but we were able to get to it by using some beds on the cliff to the right — it's basically the start area of the Ruins.
Get a good running start and use Zelda's spin (R button) to help you gain some height.
Once you find all of Tri's friends in the Tranquil Desert Temple Ruins, you will receive
two power crystals
. These can be used to upgrade your Swordfighter form at Lueberry.
