Leaving Hand In Hand Quest
The Leaving Hand in Hand quest can be obtained by finding a NPC named Gawin in the western section of Fort Joy near the camps. Talking to Gawin, you learn that he could help you get rid of Fort Joy if you kill the saltwater crocodiles near the beach before retrieving the Teleport Gloves.
Once you get the Teleport Gloves, return to Gawin and he will take you to an alcove before betraying you. However, now that the Teleport Gloves are in your possession, you can use them to teleport your party across the chasm and reach the bridge that takes you out of Fort Joy.
The Way of Soul Searching

Take the hatch to find yet another kid, who seems to be talking to an undead guard pinned to a wall with a spear through his chest. Speaking to this undead guardian, he introduces himself as Lord Withermoore, who has been cursed by Braccus Rex for the past 700 years. Withermoore asks you to find a soul jar and destroy it and promises to help you escape the fort in return. The Quest for Common Knowledge Quest
If you decide to follow the Path of Common Knowledge, you will have to Help Saheila break Amyro out of prison. Amyro is held captive by Camp Master Griff, who accuses the former of theft. You can talk to Amyro to hear his side of the story and that his imprisonment is unfair because he is innocent.
Now you can choose to either find the real thief or fight Griff to save Amyro. Whichever approach you take to rescue Amyro, he will help you by marking the map with a location to another trapdoor leading to the underground dungeon. Again, you'll have to traverse the dungeon yourself, pick locks, and find a viable escape route.
The search for the greatest resistance
The path of greatest resistance is perhaps the most complicated of the five quests you can take to escape Fort Joy. This mission is automatically acquired when you witness Atusa's execution on the beach landing.
However, in order to progress this quest, you must find the deviant magister, Delorus. He can be found in the dungeon below Fort Joy, but getting to him requires fighting some challenging mages.
Once you save Delorus from the mages, he will give you a password, which can be used to trick two other magistrates who can be found interrogating a small child, Han. Helping Han, he lets you follow him to a boat, which eventually takes you out of Fort Joy.

The fastest way to escape Fort Joy
If your care is to leave Fort Joy as quickly as possible without caring about the quests and associated rewards, you can follow these steps:
-
As soon as you land on Fort Joy Beach, head to Fort Joy Market, which is in the middle of the map. Next, interact with Lucian's statue to locate a secret button that gives you access to the underground hatch. Make sure your character has at least 11 intelligence to locate the button.
-
Next, interact with the hatch to enter the holding cells and head north until you find some mages interrogating a deviant mage, Delorus. You should also find a chair with a jail key nearby. Quick save and sneak up to the seat and pick up the key.
-
Now go back the way you came, but instead of going all the way, stop halfway and go west to unlock a door with a prison key.
-
You are only a few steps away from exiting the fort at this point. The next chamber is made up of a few more magistrates and High judge Orivand. You can avoid this fight entirely if you manage to sneak past these higher level enemies.
-
If you decide to sneak past these enemies, split up your party and sneak one by one along the west balcony that leads to the outer wall and a ladder. As soon as you reach the ladder, the quest log will update, indicating that you managed to get out of the fort.
-
The whole process takes about five minutes, but the trade-off is that you'll lose additional side quests, potential companions, gear, and XP. So try this strategy at your discretion.
