Bandai Namco and Dimps have released a new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 trailer for the Future Saga Expansion, with the next DLC chapter focusing on the Gods of Destruction from Dragon Ball Super. Eight years later Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2Its initial release, the game is still supported to this day. Dimps and Bandai Namco regularly updated the game with free updates and paid DLC, adding new playable characters and transformations. One of the biggest content updates is a new story exclusive to the game, focused on the villain Fu.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2Future Saga's four-part expansion focuses on Fu, a villain who has traveled through time and experimented with Dragon Ball history to create numerous What If scenarios. These range from Tapion coming to Future Trunks' aid in the Goku Black Saga, to giving Vegeta his Super Saiyan God form earlier than when he achieves it in the series timeline. Fu's time travel experiments continue in Chapter 2 where he tangles with the characters he tangles with Dragon Ball Superespecially Pride Troopers and Gods of Destruction.


In this new teaser trailer for Future Saga Chapter 2, Fu takes on Toppo and Dyspo from Universe 10's Pride Troopers with three of Dragon Ball Superhis destroying deities, the gods of destruction: especially Beerus, Champa, and Belmod. Goku himself also gets involved in a way where he has to fend off an energy blast that could destroy the planet, leading to the Gods of Destruction and the Pride Soldiers teaming up to fight a powerful Fu who can everyone somehow equal.

The trailer also shows an Ultra Supervillain form for Jiren, the same transformation that Fu gave Goku Black and Vegeta in Future Saga Chapter 1. The Ultra Supervillain form gives Jiren a pink aura, turns his irises the same color, and has a crystal coming out of it. The trailer teases Jiren and Fu teaming up to fight the player's Time Patrol protagonist, along with a clash between Ultra Supervillain Jiren and Super Saiyan Blue Goku. Near the end of the trailer, Goku reaches his Mastered Ultra Instinct transformation, ready to take on Jiren and stop his out-of-control power. A release date for the second chapter has yet to be provided, except that it will be “soon.”


Seeing that Xenoverse 2 it still gets post-release DLC characters to this day, like Super Videl and Android 18 versions, game content won't slow down anytime soon. 2024 looks to be an interesting year for Dragon Ball fans, with the highly anticipated Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Dragon Ball Daima anime, and now an upcoming update for Xenoverse 2 soon.
