However, the same was not done at all for Gojo. What's even more surprising is that fans don't even know what happened to Gojo after the Shinjuku Showdown. Maybe Gege is doing this for a reason and Gojo is alive. There are plenty of clues in the story that suggest he might have survived, and as things stand, that could very well be true. If Gojo is really alive, fans will find out next week, and finally the long debate about whether or not there is a possibility of Gojo's return will be settled once and for all. However, it remains to be seen if the story will end forever or if there will be a part 2 or any other sequel. As it stands, the direction JJK is going seems pretty confusing and it doesn't feel like the story is ending. If it really is, then the author is definitely not doing a good job of depicting the proper ending of the series.
