Perks might seem unrelated to Combat Specialties, but they're actually essential to making sure you actually have a Combat Specialty, as well as deciding which Combat Specialty you have active. These combat specialties can dramatically affect your performance, and while you don't necessarily need them, they are integral parts of certain builds.

What is a combat specialty?

Combat specialties act as a fourth, extra-powerful special benefit. I am three different combat specialties which we'll detail below, but all three work differently and allow you to do very different things.

How to unlock combat specialties

Unlocking Combat Specialties is extremely simple, but it means making some important decisions. Equipping a combat specialty isn't as simple as picking and equipping the one you want. I am three different types of advantages in each of the three perk slots: Rec, Enforcerand Strategist.

Equipping three different perks of same kind of advantage activate the combat specialty that comes with that type.

This means you may have to sacrifice a certain buff you want to use in order to get a combat specialty. Some builds will prioritize benefits from different categories and drop a combat specialty.

All three Combat Specialties accentuate what the perks in that category already do, creating a build that has some clear cohesion.

Certain players will excel with builds of a certain type, but it will it really depends on your play style when it comes to what Combat specialty to prioritize.

Combat specialty	Description	Strategy
Enforcer	This gives you a temporary speed and passionate about health regeneration when you kill enemies.	This is the most All or nothing combat specialty in the game. If you are constantly fighting and constantly getting kills, it will make your life easier.
Rec	This allows you to see enemies through walls for a few seconds after you respawn. It also gives you a visual notifier when someone who you can't see it is looking at youand assures you don't leave skulls on the map after you kill enemies.	This is a fantastic intel and intel-denial Combat specialty. seeing enemy locations when you spawn is a great way to get a quick kill or two on rebirth. Knowing you have to find cover before you get shot will be save your lifeand secretly killing enemies ensures that you can pulls out the flanks more consistently.
Strategist	This increase score gain When achieving the objectives. You can also implement field updates and faster equipmentand see field upgrades and enemy equipment through walls.	This combat specialty is going to gets you to more consistent Scorestreaks and make your Scorestreaks with higher costs exponentially easier to achieve. Keeps your Terrain Upgrade and Equipment a minor implementation issues and prevents you from running into enemy traps.

Combat Specialty and Perk Synergy

Because of the perk limitations you have to work with to get a combat specialty, there is a limited number of advantage combinations you can have if you want one of these Specialties. Here are some of the the best combinations of advantages which works well with the combat specialty it activates.

Omniscient (Recon)

Ghost construction obviously requires Ghost advantage in your slot Perk 1, the Tracker advantage in your slot Perk 2 and Vigilance perk in your slot Perk 3. These three perks combine to make it almost impossible to detect with equipment and make sure you can rip off the enemy's flanks by finding their steps.

The combat specialty combines with this idea, allowing you to decide which angle you want to push on respawn more easily and knowing when your cover is blown knowing when an enemy has detected you.

Make the most of every life (Enforcer)

This build ensures you get the most out of every life you bring with it Scavenger in Perk 1 slot, Assassin in the Perk 2 slot and Bankroll in the third perk slot. These advantages help ensure that you can fight more and that you reach your Scorestreaks faster.

You often wish they were in the thick of thingswith this build, and the Combat Specialty makes that much easier to accomplish. You will be moving faster than the enemy expects, your health will return to full almost immediately and you will have a constant supply of ammunition.

Achieving the goal (strategist)

This build only shines on the inside game modes with a central objectivethat Hardpoint. The first slot with advantages brings Flak jacketthe second brings Fast handsand the final brings Tutor. These three advantages combined make it very difficult to stray from an objective, allowing you to take less explosive damage and recharge your health faster when on target.
