Fortnite: Best Prop Hunting Maps

Fortnite not only offers its players a Battle Royale experience with great replay value. The third-person shooter also gives players access to a Creative mode where they can create their own maps and game modes. These creative maps vary in all sorts of ways, but there is one Fortnite Creative games that have been one of the most popular since creative mode was dropped: Prop Hunt.

Prop hunt in Fortnite remind me of Prop Hunt mode in Garry's way. There are a lot of Prop Hunt maps of Fortnite Creative section that will give players a different experience with every map they play.

It's been a while since this list was last updated, so we decided to add a few more entries so players can try out some new item hunting games in Fortnite.

14 The hunt for elements for the house of horror

The Horror House Prop Hunt map gained some fanfare during Fortnitemares, but that doesn't mean players should stop playing it once the scary season is over. This island has a lot to offer. The best part about Horror House Prop Hunt is the fake props that move from time to time; these can really turn players off as they'll start shooting props before they realize it's not actually a hidden player.

Unfortunately, the timer for hunters to start scavenging for props is pretty short, meaning players will most likely have to hide as some of the first items they come across.

13 Fun Fair – Prop Hunt

Funfair – Prop Hunt is one of the newest maps on this list to make its way into the creative directory since UE5 dropped for players to use. In this prop scavenger hunt map, fans can roam a huge amusement park filled with hundreds of props to use and camouflage with.

Not only can players find dozens and dozens of hiding spots, but the attractions in this Fun Peak theme park are all accessible, making for a great way to pass the time while hiding. This map can fit up to 30 players, which is quite large for an item hunting game mode.

12 Metro Prop Hunt

This Metro Prop Hunt is reminiscent of the old days Fortnite maps where fans could disguise themselves as various objects in different locations. But Metro Prop Hunt delivers new features with UE5 and a map that feels fresh.

Metro Prop Hunt takes players exactly where the title suggests: a subway. In this subway, fans can find different shops, trains and more to find different items and hide from the opposing team. Metro is great for smaller groups of players as the map can accommodate up to 16 players and is generally great for smaller groups of a full team.

11 FNAF – Prop Hunt

Five Nights at Freddy's fans will be sure to enjoy it Fortnite Creative map that takes the classic Five Nights at Freddy's pizzeria and allows players to run with it. There are even animatronics that players can find around the abandoned restaurant.

With plenty of secret spots and unique items for the prop team to use, fans will have a lot of fun with this map. Like other smaller maps, FNAF – Prop Hunt accommodates up to 16 players, which is exciting for those who shy away from larger games.

10 Prop Hunt – Beach Walk

There are plenty of creative scavenger hunt games that are set inside buildings, but what about outside? Prop Hunt – Beach Boardwalk takes fans on a summer trip to a sunny themed map with plenty of beach items to hide with.

There are even water slides for players to enjoy in addition to simply hiding as a prop or hunting down the opposing team as a hunter. Beach Boardwalk is a good sized game with plenty of places for players to dress up and hope for victory. The map can accommodate up to 24 players.

9 Prop Hunt – Family home

The Family House Prop Hunt game features adorable cats and makes the most of the proximity chat feature available exclusively in Fortnite Creative.

In this game, both the props and the hunters will be in a family home and will have to disguise themselves with either everyday household objects or more unexpected and larger objects such as cars and trees from the yard. In any case, players must do their best to hide their location or discover the location of those who are hiding.

8 Prop Hunt – Farm

Many veterans Fortnite fans will remember the old farm map that took Creative mode by storm with its prop hunting gameplay. It was among the first prop hunting maps in the entire game, and its legacy has not faded.

Prop Hunt – The Farm takes inspiration from the old farm map and expands it with newer cosmetic features and models. Like the older map, The Farm is quite small, leaving fewer hideouts but only allowing 10 people to play.

7 Prop Hunt: School [Horror]

Horror is one of the most popular genres in Fortnite Creative mode, and as such, there are plenty of horror prop hunting maps like this one. Prop Hunt: School [Horror] is undoubtedly the best horror hunting map that players can dive into. This school themed map has many dark places and crevices for players to crawl into and will give anyone goosebumps as they walk the halls.

There are also impressive props that the prop team can use to hide, giving this map an edge over many others. With its large size, this game can accommodate 20 players at full capacity and has infection-style gameplay that allows removed props to play as hunters.

Despite capping the maximum number of players at 24, Mall Mania Prop Hunt is one of the largest functional prop hunt maps in the Creative mode directory. There are many different stores in the mall where Mall Mania takes place, and each store has many props that the stealth team can take advantage of.

In fact, Mall Mania boasts that there are “over 900 props” for players to find around its mall-themed map. Like many other scavenger hunt maps, Mall Mania is an infection-style game, ensuring that even those who are eliminated still have a chance to play and have fun.

Fast Food Prop Hunt takes advantage of UEFN's creative features, resulting in a visual stunner Fortnite Creative play. In this map, players will have to quickly explore the food court in the mall to hide from the hunters.

From Durrr Burger-themed restaurants to Peely plushies, this map has it all. It provides a fun environment for players who like scavenger hunt and want to feel like they are just sitting at the mall and playing a fun game.

4 Minecraft Prop Hunt

Fortnite has become well known for its creative maps that draw inspiration from other franchises, particularly with Five Nights at Freddy's and grand theft auto. This map delves into the same area, but with one of the world's most famous video games of all time: Minecraft. Minecraft Prop Hunt displays a small map designed to appear as if it was ripped straight from Minecraft world.

This Unreal Engine 5 game has many unusual models and allows players to use them to disguise themselves when avoiding the hunting team. Minecraft Prop Hunt can host up to 12 players, giving players a full 6v6.

3 Forkea Prop Hunt

Forkea Prop Hunt is one of the most active prop hunting games in the Fortnite Creative. It brings players into an IKEA-themed warehouse filled with various items, which offers plenty of possibilities when it comes to hiding as props and adds an extra challenge for hunters.

While playing, players have to collect aliens, which are converted into XP, so it's also a great way to level up in Fortnite while having fun with other players.

2 Prop Hunt – Candy Factory

A good scavenger hunt map has a few key aspects and characteristics: lots of props, large areas to cover, distinct but clever hideouts, and memorable niches that pop up throughout the game. Prop Hunt – The Candy Factory hits all of these targets and then some.

On this Candy Factory map, players will have no problem finding a hideout as there are too many to cover in one match. There are also plenty of props, many of which follow the theme of the “candy” map. With a maximum of 20 players, the Candy Factory becomes a war zone full of hunters and props.

Prop Hunt – Haunted House is one of the older prop hunt maps on this list and actually predates Unreal Engine 5 integration, but the creators of Haunted House ensure the survival of the game mode by constantly updating it. With new props, features, and rewards, Haunted House still has one of the largest player bases among prop hunting maps.

Not only that, but there are also several inanimate objects that will move on the floor by themselves. This creepy mechanic can repel hunters and create a unique experience. With hundreds of different hideouts on this map, players will definitely be playing this map for a while.
