Fortnite may already be done creating substantial new content for one of its newer game modes
A recent update from Epic Games reveals that Fortnite may already be done with major new support for one of its newest game modes.
As pointed out in a new popular tweet Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, Epic Games is making a significant change to in-game gifts going forward. After his release FortniteFortnitemares' update, players will no longer be able to give a pack to their friend if the other person already owns any of the items in the pack. Essentially, this completely fixes the gifts trick, something players have been using to buy cheap skins for a long time.
How does the Fortnite Bundle Gifting Glitch work?
One of the skins fans frequently used this trick for was Fortniteit's The Incredibles pack. To begin with, players would purchase Mrs. Incredible for 1,500 V-Bucks and Frozone for 1,800 V-Bucks. Then, if someone gifted the Incredibles pack to this account from another account, it would only cost $200 V. Players often used their second account or a friend's account for this. After receiving the pack, players would cancel their purchases of Mrs. Incredible and Frozone and get their 3,300 V-Bucks back. Essentially, this meant that one could get the entire Incredibles bundle for just $200 V.
Fans are particularly unhappy with the fix that was implemented. Since partial packs can no longer be gifts, this change also affects players who were not exploiting this bug, preventing them from sending certain skin gifts to their friends in Fortnite. The only good news is that players who exploited the bug still have their purchase intact.
