Fortnite players share what battle passes they regret not buying

Summary

  • Fortnite has been running for over seven years now, so many players are missing their previous Battle Passes.

  • Now that the rewards are no longer completely exclusive, Fortnite players are sharing which ones they wish they had bought.

  • We all have at least one we wish we could take or progress to the end. Mine is the one with Rick, for anyone who asks.

Fortnite players discuss which battle passes over the game's seven years they most regret not buying for their exclusive skins and items.

While Epic Games has recently taken some steps to change Battle Passes and make their content much more likely to show up in the store once a season ends, that hasn't always been the case. In fact, for most of Fortnite's run, each chapter's multiple battle passes were incredibly limited, and their rewards were lost over time once each season ended.

Now that Fortnite has been running for five full chapters and has built an even bigger audience with each passing year, that leaves a lot of players, both new and old, looking back at the Battle Passes they've missed since they started playing. If you play Fortnite long enough, then I'm sure you already have some good answers.

Fortnite players share what battle passes they wish they had bought

The conversation about missing battle passes was picked up on the Fortnite Battle Royale subreddit by Redditor HuntiniMartini, who kicked things off by sharing a photo of Chapter 4, Season 1. That often-overlooked season featured Geralt, the Doom Slayer, and a bunch of originals. skins, so it makes sense for someone to be sad about missing.

Beyond that, the top comment on the thread comes from Redditor Teosaurusrexx, who says they wish they hadn't missed Chapter 1, the Season 7 Battle Pass, but they did since all their friends have stopped playing. According to the season, this was Fortnite's first big Christmas battle pass and featured icons like Sgt. Winter, the Ice King and Glidurrr. Ugh, that must sting.

One pass that gets a lot of mention (even outside of the thread) is Chapter 3, Season 1, because it introduced a comic version of Spider-Man that has yet to be replicated. We're looking at you, Peter B. Parker.

Another Battle Pass missed in the thread is Chapter 2, Season 4, which was the first Marvel Season in Fortnite. XboxBladesOnTop specifically pointed out that he wished he had bought it to have Mystique's skin, which can transform into others via a unique emote that is still talked about today.

As you can imagine, there are a lot of examples in the thread and a lot of specific reasons why each Season is desirable, but looking through the post is a nice reminder of how far Fortnite has come. If you're like me and forgot to get rid of Crew for a while, it's also nice to compare and see what you have and others are missing.
