Silent Cartographer is not only one of the best Halo levels of all time, but it's definitely up there for one of the best first-person shooter levels ever designed. Seaside Assault on Halo is an absolutely memorable mission from start to finish, featuring stunning scenery, tight combat sequences, vehicles, and some of the best music this side of gaming has ever produced.
Simply put, it's a masterpiece – one that every player should experience at least once to better understand its influence and importance.
That said, for as iconic a mission as The Silent Cartographer is, it's a fairly routine level in terms of combat. Of course, if you happen to be playing on Legendary, then you're definitely going to have a tough time. But how about being completely blindfolded?
Well, this is the challenge that one streamer sought to see for themselves, and after much trial and error, they managed to complete the mission without taking a look.
The blind cartographer
Content creator Kelly Madden AKA KMaddify challenged himself to complete various Halo segments without using his eyes. Appearing a black mask that covers everything except the nose and mouth, they were able to complete the Silent Cartographer after three days of trials.
According to the streamer, it's the first completion of the iconic level completely blindfolded. It only took them three hours, but they managed to do it, as this Twitch clip proves.

Very impressive, isn't it? It's also not the first level they've tried blindfolded, as they managed to beat Pillar of Autumn, which is the first Halo level, earlier this year.
And they're not done yet either. Earlier Friday, they returned to the stream to review the footage and see where time could be cut. There is hope to shave at least two hours, which would be equally impressive. Streamers like KMaddify fail to impress with their feats. Let's hope they can achieve their goal of running Halo: Combat Evolved in full.
