How to complete the important job of an elf in throne and freedom

With many missions available to tackle The Throne and Libertyyou will encounter many of them involved and complex, as well as short and sweet ones that reward decent EXP, Sollant and other rewards that will be extremely useful in the early stages of your new MMO journey.

An Important Job of a Goblin is one of these side quests, offering a concise but decently rewarding mission that makes it hard to pass up when looking for quick upgrade materials, EXP, and spending money. While he won't be available right from the jump, it won't be that long before you can approach him, making it all the more necessary to get out of the way ASAP!

How to complete the important job of an elf in throne and freedom

At the touch Carmine Forest for the first time and activating its checkpoint, you will have access to An important job of an elf side quest, allowing you to tackle it almost instantly afterwards – which we highly suggest you do, as it won't take that long.

With Waypoint active, start tracking the mission and draw your map to see the first step of the search is just west of the Waypoint. It is almost directly next to the work. Follow the sign here until you reach the first step from the secondary quest!

You can either follow the route up and around the old goblin city, or run down the steep slope from the checkpoint directly to it; anyway, it's fast and won't take that long to arrive.

Talk to the Goblin Lich in Old Goblin Town

Once you get to Old Goblin City, you will see this was flooded and Lich will stand to one side, I am desperately looking for some help. Talk to the Goblin Lich and they agree to help them drain the water from the nearby city Drainage devices, leading you directly to the next part of the mission.

Check the drainage device

There will be four drainage devices here and – at the beginning – it may seem like you have to use them all somehow to extract all the water from the city. However, it's not nearly as complicated and it is quite simple. Simply walk up to one of the drainage devices and start spamming it repeatedly until the water disappears.

You you have to hold down the activation key until the bar fills up completely, which will be then cause water to flow from the drainage device. Keep hammering on the Drain Device until you successfully reveal Old Goblin Town, allowing you to proceed to the third and final step!

If all four drains are somehow being used by other players, you must wait until one becomes available to use, as you cannot interact with an item currently in use by someone else in Throne and Liberty. This shouldn't happen, but if it does, patiently wait your turn!

Talk to the Goblin Lich again

After successful drainage of water from Old Goblin Town, The Lich will thank you and quickly run into a house and retrieve an item before returning to their original place. Wait patiently for it to do that and then talk to him one more time after that.

Ending the conversation with the Lich will make them leave area, completing the side quest An Important Job of an Elf along with it, giving you some decent rewards for your efforts. While you won't get a unique or rare weapon or a bizarre Morph, you will get upgrade materials and a good chunk of EXP, making it worth it.

A goblin's important job rewards

As touched upon above, you will you get a decent amount of EXP, Sollant and upgrade materials for your efforts, making it all the more important do as soon as possible that this side quest does not require combat. It's short and to the point, making it one of the best quests to look for when looking for easy EXP and rewards.

Like any mission in Throne and Liberty, you will get a reward for each completed step, which goes a long way since you'll be constantly getting items and goodies for completing even the most basic quests like A Goblin's Important Job. You can learn more about each reward in the table below!
