How to get Crown Fluff in Infinity Nikki
Crown fluff is a unique and rare (blue tier) crafting resource. Infinity Nikki which can only be found in a certain region of Wishfield – the Wishing Woods. To get to the legendary house of the Faewish sprites, you have to progress far enough in the main story questline, which means you have to get Chapter 6 and complete their objectives to unlock the skill that allows you to move into the region.
Once you have full access to the Wishing Woods, you'll need to explore your way around the map until you eventually reach the areas directly south and east of the Grand Tree. There you must locate a majestic creature called Crown. They are usually found in small flocks mixing with Wreathdoes (which provide Wreath Fluff).
When you have one in your sights, equip yourself Goodbye dust grooming outfit (or any of the fashionable alternatives) and approach the animal carefully. Once the small blue brush icon appears, Nikki will groom the Crowndeer and receive 1 x Crown Puff instead.
If you have the appropriate nodes unlocked on the Heart of Infinity grid, you can not only increase the number of Crown Fluff rewards per bride, but also get Crown Fluff Essencewhich you will need for Silvergale's Aria Miracle outfit.
The nodes for both bonuses are found on the north side of the grid as seen above. You will need a minimum Grooming Insight stat of 18,000 to unlock the node for Crown Fluff Essence and then 25,000 Prospect for a chance to win bonus Crown Fluff afterwards. It can be a long work to achieve this, but it is still very doable with consistent contributions of Vital Energy to The Realm of Nourishment.
The deer itself is not a very common creature in the Infinity Nikkieven in the Wishing Woods. Only a single Crowndeer will be found in a group of Wreathdoes, and those groups are only found in select areas around the Grand Tree and further south. However, remember that you can use your map to track their locations. Open it and select the book icon in the lower left corner of the screen, which will bring up the Collections menu. Scroll down until you find Crown Fluff as an option and select it.
Press the “Track” button to find the nearest general location of a Crowndeer (as long as you are in the Wishing Woods), which will appear as an orange circle on your map. After you've taken care of that Crowndeer, the next location will appear on your map. Be sure to groom Wreathdoes for their Wreath Fluff as well, as it is required for many high-end outfits in the game.
It may take some time to unlock the “Precise Tracking” option for Crowndeer, so a map showing all currently known Crowndeer nodes in Wishing Woods is provided above. Remember that all care nodes currently reset about 24 hours after the creature itself is groomed (the upcoming V.1.2 game update will change it to server time reset), so you'll have to wait that period of time before you can get more Crown Fluff. .
Alternatively, if you're really in a pinch, Crown Fluff can also be purchased with Rising reflux by Infinity Nikkihis in-game store. However, given that Surging Ebb is only obtained by running exceptionally rare 5-star duplicate clothing items, this method is not particularly recommended. If you need it, though, it's there.
Also, while you're in that area of the Wishing Woods, don't forget to challenge the nearby Fresh Sovereign for your coveted Fresh Medal and one of the rarest crafting items in the game.
