How to get flower beetles

Location of the flower beetle

Flower beetles are mainly found around Meadow Activity Support Center in Breezy Meadow. A Warp Spire is conveniently located near the building, but players who have yet to unlock this location will need to travel a considerable distance south of the city of Florawish. Flower beetles are often seen rolling Florapom – a ball of white and yellow flowers – on the grassy ground.

In order to catch flower bugs or any other insects, players must equip the insect catching outfit, Afternoon Shine. By holding down the ability button (right click on PC), players can sneak up on the bugs until the mesh glows, signaling they're close enough. Releasing the ability button at this point will successfully catch the bug.

Players can assign afternoon glow and other skill outfits, skill wheels (PC tab) for ease of access.

Players can also use the tracking feature in the lower left corner of the map to locate the general areas where flower beetles will appear. After capturing at least 50 flower beetles, a more accurate location tracker will become available, making future searches even easier.

Dig it, Pear-Pal

Another way to get flower bugs is through Dig it, Pear-Pal feature, accessible through Pear-Pal (Escape on PC). This function works similarly to Shipments in Genshin Impactallowing players to passively gather specific resources over a period of time. To unlock Blossom Beetles as a collectible resource in Dig, Pear-Pal, players must first catch at least one in the wild.

Players can choose from four duration options: four hours, eight hours, 12 hours, or 20 hours. Longer durations produce larger quantities of selected materials at completion. At Mira Level 28, players can assign up to four different materials to dig, providing a nice passive way to gather resources like flower beetles.

Resonance store

The last way to get Blossom Beetles is through the in-game store under the Resonance tab. Players can trade Drops of peacea currency earned from receiving duplicate 3-star items in either Limited Resonance or Permanent Resonance (gacha) for various collectibles.

Articles available in Resonance stores are limited in quantity but will refresh monthly. Players can purchase up to 10 Blossom Beetles per month, each costing 8 Tranquility Droplets. Since Tranquility Droplets are a rare resource, it's generally advisable to prioritize spending them on Revelation and Resonite Crystals – essential for Resonance pulls – before considering purchasing collectibles like Blossom Beetles.
