How to get the Wraith Shell Emblem in Destiny 2

Quick links

Spectral Shell is a secret emblem that you can unlock during the Festival of the Lost Destiny 2. Getting the emblem requires you to complete a hidden triumph called Twilight. Completing said triumph will not only unlock the Spectral Carapace emblem, but also a guaranteed Lost Memento from the previous FOTL. However, if you see the triumph, you will see all the hidden objectives.

This guide will help you learn everything you need to know about completing the Twilight triumph to get the secret Spectral Carapace emblem during the Festival of the Lost.

How to unlock the spectral shell emblem

Spectral Carapace emblem found in the Flair section of Destiny 2 collectibles.

To get the Spectral Carapace emblem, you will have to unlock a hidden triumph called Twilight. You will see 'Generic' page of Episode: Revenant. However, if you check out the triumph, you'll find all the objectives hidden and replaced with a bunch of question marks.

First, you will have to equip the tower staff mask and talk to both Eva Levante and Saint-14 in the Tower. This should complete the first objective of the triumph.

To get the tower staff mask, you will have to complete the Hocus Focusing challenge on the FOTL event card. This simply requires focus on a strange engram with Eva Levante in the Tower.

Next, you will have to equip cursed mask and get 100 explosive kills. You should be able to do this using any Grenade Launcher, Missile Launcher, etc. in an area with many enemies such as Shrines of Sadness on the Moon or the the entrance to the Grasp of Avarice dungeon on the Cosmodrome. Also note that kills in the Crucible reward double progress.

I have to complete the Heads Will Roll challenge on the FOTL event card to get the Cursed Mask. This challenge asks you to defeat 100 headless in haunted sectors.

After that, you will have to equip the completed Ghost Mask and Defeat 50 enemies using a sword in an expert haunted sector. You can launch it directly from The Tower. There are no matches in expert haunted sectors. You simply enter one, get as many kills as possible and restart – you don't actually have to complete the Haunted Sector.

Once you are done, claimed Twilight's triumph to get the Lost Memento emblem and Spectral Carapace.

to unlock the completed Ghost Maskyou will need to fill out Candy Corner Challenge in the FOTL event card. This requires you to farm 15,000 Candies.

How to grow candy

As long as you you have a Festival of the Lost Mask equippedwhatever you do will bring you some Candy. However, farming 15,000 candies requires a lot of grinding. Some of the ways we recommend are:

  • If you're a solo player, your best bet is to Farm Heroic Public Events in the European Dead Zone. Alternatively, you can also run the easiest Nightfall repeatedly. Since the simplest one has matching enabled, it should be pretty simple to do.

  • For those with a prefab fire squad if you can grab a control point for the final boss of the Shattered Throneyou can continuously farm it for lots of Candies.

  • Finally, don't forget that you can get around 1,000 candies per character gathering it from the trees in the Tower — one near Eva Levante and the other near Ikora in the Bazaar.
