How to plant your device

To get started, you will have to pick up the bombalso known as Rift Point Device. This article appears exclusively at The starting location of the attackersand since only one device is available per round, it's essential to coordinate with your team to figure out who needs to retrieve it.

Once the device is in your possession, your next move is to choose a target location to plant it. I am two possible places: A and B. Both are clearly marked on the mini-map. Visually, you can identify these sites by decorated crushed earth with distinctive purple glowing cracks. Deciding which site to tackle depends on your team's positioning and the team's strategy on defense.

When you reach your chosen site, approaches the crushed earth. At this moment, press the interaction button to start rooting your device — “E” for PC and “X” for console.

Be aware that the planting process takes a moment, leaving you vulnerable to enemy attacks. It is essential to rely on your teammates to provide cover and protect the defenders while completing this task.

Once the device is planted, a countdown start by moving your target to site defense and preventing the opposing team from defusing the bomb.
