How to quickly complete the Obelisk quest

The Bright Shores is the newest old school MMORPG from the Gower brothers, creators of the original classic, Runescape. Complete with a vibrant world full of magic and monsters, The Bright Shores features a wide variety of professions for players to specialize in, just like its predecessor. One of the first missions players will encounter after completing the tutorial is Obeliskafter Corporal Binns requires players to achieve a total level of 60. While players are free to achieve this in any way they choose, the Obelisk should be at the top of their priority list of things to do as it unlocks Tuning, a way to activate and equip powerful weapons and armor found throughout the game, as well as award over 10,000 guard experience upon completion. Walkthrough The Obelisk Quest In Brighter Shores

Before starting the mission, players will want to make sure they are able to defeat a level 10 enemy by increasing your guard level, equipping item drops from defeated enemies, and crafting potions to heal yourself during battle. The quest for the Obelisk itself can be started by talking to Commander Hackett on the walls of the City Gatesfar east of the Town Square, which will require players to retrieve a stolen key from a goblin thief.

After returning the key, players will receive two unassigned swords and must trip to the Hopeport Obelisk, west of the Town Square, to grant them. However, the Obelisk is damaged upon player arrival, and players will have to do it find the missing obelisk fragment in Wilhope Crossingsouth and east of the Obelisk. The shard is located in the river near the bridge, leaning against the stone wall.

Returning and using the Obelisk Shard will cause the nearby NPC Channette to give players an instruction tablet, and speaking to Channette once more will lead players to Naybeth the Philosopher to learn more. Naybeth can be found in a house along the eastern road leading to the City Gate, where the first mission began, which will give players four seal items that match the symbols located on the edges of the Instruction Tablet.

Use the Seals around the Hopeport Obelisk

Once again, players will have to return to the Obelisk use the seals on the four ancient pillars around the Hopeport obelisk, placing each seal in the location indicated on the instruction tablet. Once successfully completed, players will need to travel to the training ground where the tutorial took place and talk to Anjay.

Traveling back to the Obelisk one last time, players will finally be able to repair the Obelisk and tune the two swords given by Commander Hackett, allowing them to be equipped. Completing the quest by speaking with Commander Hackett at the City Gate will return one of the two swords, but will rewards players with 10,600 Guard experiencegiving players a considerable boost in their journey to level 60.
