Finding and using loot filters
Loot filters can be very helpful Path of Exile 2especially once the items start dropping by the tens. These reduce screen clutter while simultaneously highlighting the most important things on the field, making the looting experience feel smoother and more convenient.
Sorting and picking up items manually on console or with a controller can be a little tedious, but luckily PlayStation and Xbox players can also use item filters just like PC players. Using the filters on consoles is a little confusing though, so here's a quick guide showing all the steps you need to take to get them up and running.

How to link Path of Exile 2 and console accounts
At the time of writing, to use loot filters in console versions of PoE 2i shall connect your accounts console to you Path of Exile account. This is done through Path of Exile 1 website — to do this, follow these steps:

Log in to Path of Exile website.

Click on your account name. at the top left of the web page.

Click on “Manage Account” on the right, under your profile name and avatar.

Under “Secondary sign-in”, press the Sign in button for the Sony (PS) or Microsoft (Xbox) options.
After pressing the Sign In button for your chosen console, you will be prompted to sign in with either an existing PlayStation or Xbox account. Follow all the steps that appear, and your accounts they should now be connected.
Finding and using loot filters
Once your accounts are connected return to your page profile on the websitethen click the Article Filters button on the right. Then click on Element Filter Scale hyperlink. This will open a new tab in your browser that contains the best loot filters for Path of Exile 2.
Above the filter list is a drop down box – change this to PoE 2. After that, click on the filter you want to use, then press the Follow button on the filter page. . If you are new Path of Exile 2 player, we recommend NeverSink's semi-strict or regular filters for a more general/streamlined experience.
Finally, now that you're watching a loot filter on the official website, open the game and go to the Options menu. Go to the Game tab and right at the top of the menu is an Item Filter option. The filter you followed on the site should be in the dropdown menu. Select it, then click Save. From now on, items that appear in-game should now have different labels, colors, or even sound effects depending on which filter you have enabled.
