Palworld - Summon Shrine in the Build menu

Once you've unlocked the Shrine of Summons, you'll need the following items to build it:

  • 100 stones
  • 20 paldium fragments

The Summoning Shrine is located under the Other tab of the Build menu. It is important to consider where you are building the altar. While it might be tempting to place it in the main base for convenience, it's not recommended. Instead, it is advisable to dedicate a separate base specifically for summoning and fighting raid bosses. Palworld allows you to create up to three bases by creating a Palbox.

An open area is perfect for building the Shrine of Summons, as you'll have enough space to move around freely and let your powerful friends fight the boss without getting stuck in weird places.

If you lack the necessary tiles to summon a raid boss, you will need to search for slab fragments. These rare items are often found as rewards in chests scattered throughout dungeons and open areas such as wildlife sanctuaries.

For lower level raid bosses like Eclipsed Siren Bellanoir, search dungeons in the starting regions like Windswept Hills and Sea Breeze Archipelago for slab shards. As for high-level bosses like Twilight Siren Bellanoir Libero, explore dungeons and regions like Obsidian Mountain, Desiccated Desert, and Astral Mountains. Defeating Twilight Siren Bellanoir Libero will drop the tile to summon an even more formidable variant of the same raid boss.

The best places to build a summoning shrine and fight raid bosses

Fighting a raid boss is no easy task. In most cases, a raid boss will destroy every friend and building near the Palbox. For this reason, it is important to carefully choose the location to build your Summoning Shrine and start a raid. Due to the awkward movement of friends in Palworldit is advisable to look for flat areas for raid battles. Fortunately, Palworld offers several such places. Here are some great locations to fight a raid boss:

West Coast of the Forgotten Isle

Palworld - Battle Bellanoir on the west coast of the Forgotten Isle

Forgotten Island is one of the beginner friendly regions of Palworld. The west coast has a long, flat beach that is perfect for raid battles. You can also use the small island with the fast travel point Forgotten Island as a raid base, although the limited space may restrict your friends' movement.

Open area north of Lv. 15 Penking Alpha Boss

Palworld - Coast north of Penking boss

Lv. 15 Penking is one of the first alpha bosses you'll encounter Palworld due to its low level and early accessibility. North of the boss room, you'll find a vast open area. Although there are many pieces of stone scattered around, your friends should be able to maneuver around them and fight the raid boss without too much trouble.

East of Black Marketeer on Eastern Wild Island

Palworld - Area west of Black Marketeer in Eastern Wild Island

In the far east of the Palpagos Islands, you will encounter the Eastern Wild Island. This island is home to two powerful Alpha bosses, Mossanda Lux and Wumpo Botan, as well as a Black Marketeer. Just east of the Black Marketeer is a large open area at the top of the hills, ideal for fighting a raid boss. However, be careful as the boss might fall down the hill.
