Hunter x Hunter is one of the most popular manga of all time, and for a very good reason. Despite Togashi taking long breaks due to his deteriorating health, fans are always waiting for his return to continue the story. Last week Togashi dropped chapter 402 and HxH 403 will be released soon later this week.

The story of the War of Succession taking place on the Black Whale is intensifying, and more information will be revealed about the Kakin Princes, in particular, Beyond Netero's possible son among them. A bunch of Kakin princes are also targeted, and the next prince to die could fall very soon.

Prince Halkenburg, the 9th prince of the Kakin Empire, is quite an interesting character. Starting out as a pacifist, he slowly loses his way as the succession war continues. Prince Halkenburg has one of the most interesting abilities seen in this succession war, Possession Arrow. This ability could come into play very soon.

In HxH 402, fans got to see Balsamilco Might, Prince Benjamin's first right-hand man, hatching his plan to take down Halkenburg. He plans to do this by using a silent killer that will take out Halkenburg if he inhales it and leaves Benjamin with no trace of guilt. For this plan to succeed, Balsamilco will need to carry out this plan in a room with reduced air circulation.

In HxH 403, fans could witness Balsamilco in action as he tries to accomplish just that. However, his plans are likely to fail. In fact, it is implied that Halkenburg could use Nen's ability, Possession Arrow, to possess Balsamilco's body when the latter tries to assassinate him. It would be catastrophic for Prince Benjamin if true, as Balsamilco is his closest man. It could be a major leak for Benjamin that could even lead to his own demise, or at least the death of his most trusted man, potentially sending the First Prince into a rage. As a result, the events of the Succession War could quickly begin to escalate.

Furthermore, this is not the only plot line regarding Halkenburg that could be expanded into Hunter X Hunter Chapter 403. Indeed, in Chapter 402 of HxHsome interesting information was sent in a letter to Halkenburg and Kurapika. The truth about the birth of Prince Halkenburg was mentioned.

This is a pretty interesting detail that needs to be revealed now of all time, after what fans have discovered in HxH 401. Longhi revealed her thoughts to Kurapika that she believes Beyond Netero has a son among the Kakin Princes. This reference to Halkenburg's birth could suggest that this is the child from the Beyond. Halkenburg has always been one of the strongest contenders, but of course has been surpassed by the 4th Prince Tserriednich so far. With this information now, however, it makes fans raise their eyebrows more at the 9th Prince.

That being said, Halkenburg being revealed as Beyond Netero's son would be a simple answer to the truth of his birth, and other options are also on the table as this could simply be a red herring from Togashi. So, fans are still waiting for the answer from Togashi. The truth about Halkenburg's birth may have more to do with his maternal lineage than his paternal. Indeed, Halkenburg bears a striking resemblance to the first Queen Unma, despite what fans know about his mother, the second Queen Duazui. The plan to assassinate Luzurus is set in motion in HxH chapter 403

The assassination of Luzurus could end in success

As seen in HxH 402, Melody and her group set in motion a plan to assassinate Luzurus, the 7th Prince of Kakin. The reason for this is to save Fugetsu, who has suffered from what appears to be a trap laid by the enemy that will slowly kill her. If nothing is done, it will soon give way. While the group isn't entirely sure Luzurus is responsible, it's their best bet and they'd rather take out Luzurus than take any chances with Fugetsu.

HxH chapter 403 could see these characters begin their assassination attempt. The party will need to take Luzurus to the area in the lifeboat. This will require Fugetsu's ability to allow other people to finish and pass through him, something the spirit beast that took the form of Kacho believes is definitely possible.

The group will definitely try to get Luzurus to a lifeboat and put him out to sea. This will cause his death, similar to how Kacho died when he tried to escape.

Nen beasts follow 2 rules:

• They cannot attack other Nen spirit beasts
• They cannot attack someone possessed by a Nen spirit beast.

That would mean that unless setting a trap was considered a direct attack, then Luzurus' Nen beast would not have been able to hurt Fugetsu. If it is confirmed that Luzurus is not the one behind Fugetsu's declining state, that could mean quite a lot of trouble for Melody and her group. They would have gone to the trouble of committing this assassination for no good reason, and on top of that, they'll have to figure out who the real culprit behind all of this is, which might mean having to, once again. , throw someone.
