NetherRealm is hard at work on its next game, but the studio has yet to confirm if this new project is Injustice 3or if it is new Injustice here comes the game. It seems unlikely that NetherRealm will let go of such a lucrative franchise. However, after the studio broke its alternate release model and released two Mortal Kombat games in a row, many Injustice fans are desperate for details on the third installment. This radio silence provides ample opportunity for speculation as to what a third Injustice the game might look like.
As with most fighting games, guess which characters might appear Injustice 3his list became a hotly debated topic. Classic characters like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman seem like a given for the main roster, but the unpredictable roster of guest characters in Injustice 2 it makes the work of the DLC detective difficult. That said, a predicted inclusion feels more likely than not. Going by a trend from the first two games, at least one guest character from a related franchise seems like a shoo-in.

Licensing guest characters for a fighting game can be tricky. Characters like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Hellboy make fun matches in a game like Injustice 2but getting access to that IP can be a long and expensive process. This is the route NetherRealm went with for three guest characters from the first two Injustice games. Scorpion appeared as the only guest character in Injustice: Gods Among Uswhile Sub-Zero and Raiden joined the roster Injustice 2. If Injustice 3 it turns out, more chances Mortal Kombat graduates that appear as DLC are incredibly large.

Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden are by far the most iconic fighters in their franchise, so when it comes to predicting which
Mortal Kombat
character will follow in their footsteps, the answer is not as obvious.
Although not as popular as the ninja, Liu Kang has long been the de facto protagonist of Mortal Kombat. Its historical significance certainly deserves a slot as one Injustice 3 guest character and, due to Liu Kang's high status as the god of fire in Mortal Kombat 1NetherRealm could also choose to drop it as a way to further the ongoing narrative in its flagship franchise.
Johnny Cage has a good chance of appearing in the future Injustice I play too. In addition to having important roles in the story modes of Mortal Kombat (2011), Mortal Kombat Xand Mortal Kombat 11Cage's fiery attitude and engaging fighting style have made him a fan favorite throughout the modern era of the series. Cage tends to have the funniest and most outrageous opening dialogue Mortal Kombatso pitting his personality against the likes of Batman, Flash or Wonder Woman seems too good to pass up.
A Wicked Twist for Injustice 3
while Mortal Kombathis heroes and anti-heroes serve as the most popular characters, Injustice it was always about the dichotomy between hero and villain. If Injustice 3 wants to change things up, Shao Kahn could also be a potential choice for DLC.
