Iranian warship Sahand entirely sinks despite rebalancing efforts

DUBAI: The Iranian Navy’s frigate Sahand sank completely in shallow waters in the southern port of Bandar Abbas on Tuesday, Nournews reported, after being briefly towed after its first capsize on Sunday. “The warship Sahand, which was re-balanced on the water with great difficulty on Monday, has now sunk after the rope holding the ship broke,” said Nournews, a news agency affiliated with the Supreme National Security Council.
