Boruto Uzumaki is quite easily one of the strongest characters in the Boruto world at this point in time. Although Boruto does not have full control over Karma, he has actually reached a level where he doesn't even need Karma to beat the upper levels. The secret of Boruto's power was revealed in the story quite recently. First, Boruto trained with Sasuke for about a year. During this time, Sasuke exercised all the skills he had in him and helped him reach a very high level. Of course, that didn't mean Boruto was at Sasuke's level of strength. Anyway, fans know that the Six Paths Sage mode is no longer with Naruto Uzumaki. In order to defeat Isshiki, Naruto used a new power which caused him to completely overwhelm Isshiki in battle and it was clear for fans to see that there was a massive difference in the power level of these two individuals. This was made possible by Naruto harnessing the power of Baryon Mode, which allowed him to create an entirely new form of energy and use it in battle. Naruto could also shave off Isshiki's own chakra and life with each strike or every time they came into contact with each other. This power didn't last long, but it saw Naruto peak. At his peak, Naruto is far superior to Boruto.

Clearly, Boruto Uzumaki is very powerful and is about to surpass Naruto. The next generation always surpasses the previous in the franchise and here, Boruto should have the tools to reach a level that Naruto couldn't. After all, he is incredibly talented, has a strong bond with Otsutsuki, and on top of that, he got a lot of help from Sasuke and Kashin Koji. Boruto even has Momoshiki which if he manages to control gives him a massive boost and then there's the case of Jougan who as it stands continues to remain a massive mystery. At the peak of his powers, Boruto could go on to rival Naruto's Baryon mode.

Of course, a case can be made for Boruto to suppress this level, but as it stands, he's nowhere near Naruto's Baryon Mode level and can't beat him in a fight should the two ever meet. What the future holds for Boruto, fans don't know. But the same can be said for Naruto Uzumaki as he will eventually have to be released and fans don't know what level of power he aims to reach once he returns.
