In a statement to RadioTimes, a spokesperson for Kim Bodnia confirmed this the sorcerer season four was a conflict with Bodnia's busy schedule, which caused the plans to shake up and did not fit into his current filming schedule. It's definitely a disappointment to fans who were looking forward to seeing Bodnia continue as Vesemir in the sorcerer season four, but for those who want to see where Bodnia goes, you can find him in his next Apple TV+ Original Movie project F1 as Kaspar, which also stars Brad Pitt, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies and Sarah Niles. Bodnia was introduced in season two of the sorcerer as Vesemir, Geralt's mentor and father figure. However, viewers didn't get to learn more about the oldest and most experienced wizard until much later in the show's third season, when the narrative began to move away from the fortress of Kaer Morhen. Under similar circumstances to how Ciri was adopted by Geralt, Vesemir became a wizard when he was claimed by the Law of Surprise and enrolled in the School of the Wolf.
In a recent interview, Liam Hemsworth revealed details about taking over from Cavill, saying that he didn't actually follow the sorcerer before, but he thought the games were the best he had ever played. Fortunately, many faces from the sorcererIts cast returns for season four, which includes Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Freya Allan as Ciri, and Joey Batey as Jaskier. That the sorcerer season five has already been written, it will be interesting to see what new cast members like Laurence Fishburne as Regis and James Purefoy as Stefan Skellen will bring to the series as they continue their journey.
