In a statement to RadioTimes, a spokesperson for Kim Bodnia confirmed this the sorcerer season four was a conflict with Bodnia's busy schedule, which caused the plans to shake up and did not fit into his current filming schedule. Bodnia was introduced in season two of the sorcerer as Vesemir, Geralt's mentor and father figure. In a recent interview, Liam Hemsworth revealed details about taking over from Cavill, saying that he didn't actually follow the sorcerer before, but he thought the games were the best he had ever played. Fortunately, many faces from the sorcererIts cast returns for season four, which includes Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Freya Allan as Ciri, and Joey Batey as Jaskier. That the sorcerer season five has already been written, it will be interesting to see what new cast members like Laurence Fishburne as Regis and James Purefoy as Stefan Skellen will bring to the series as they continue their journey.
