This demographic also includes Reddit user Boomstick80, who recently shared a variety of in-game graffiti he created using the Custom Designs app. The lot includes 20 images in total, the vast majority being represented Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers and other characters in some pretty interesting scenarios. For example, the first graffiti in the set shows the adorable Stitches spewing a rainbow after eating a colorful cupcake, and is followed by an artwork of Tom Nook shooting Mario's Banzai Bill.


Guns are a recurring motif in recent street art shared by Boomstick80, which also includes a depiction of Kiki dual-wielding pistols and Sasha armed with two assault rifles and a disarming smile on her face. The artist also seems to be partial Animal Crossing: New HorizonsStitches, which is seen in two other graffiti aside from the rainbow spewing artwork. In the first, the bear cub is seen parading around in a Stormtrooper helmet, with his X-shaped eyes visible through the visor. The other shows Stitches sitting on the ground in an adorable shark suit.


Some of the other graffiti in this set includes Raymond smoking a cigarette in a red hoodie, Timmy and Tommy Nook posing in superhero costumes, and Brewster sticking his head through a half-eaten slice of bread. Boomstick80 also wrote some rather morbid images, such as a depiction of Orville swallowing one of the Nook twins while the other looks on in despair, and more graffiti of Zipper T. Bunny wielding a chainsaw. Their artwork of Pennywise holding a red balloon next to the message “and you will float” is also part of this creepy subset.


Boomstick80's in-game graffiti appeared on the front page of the series' largest subreddit in mid-October 2024, garnering praise from many fans. Elaborating on their creative process, the artist explained that the vast majority of images span 16 tiles, meaning they don't have enough. Animal Crossing: New Horizons custom designed slots to store them all. Instead, they first sketched out the designs in a mobile pixel art app called Dots, then recreated them in-game, deleting their old artwork when they ran out of space and wanted a change.
