Updated October 4, 2024: Another week has come for Destiny 2meaning quests, challenges and rewards have been reset. With October now here, Episode Revenant is now closer than ever Destiny 2. Although much of the content of Episodes: Echoes will remain in place for the next two episodes, for those who want to have a free table for October 8th, this is the last week to do so.
Until then, players should expect a lot more reveals leading up to Revenant's release on October 8th to go along with some of the details Bungie has already shared. Just last week, the Crucible was the center of attention, with Bungie revealing big changes coming Destiny 2Its PvP mode in terms of weapon balancing, Trials of Osiris updates, as well as a UI overhaul and the return of a reworked version of the Solitude map.
For now, though, Destiny 2 the weekly reset is finally here, bringing with it the usual refreshed content, activities and rewards that players will be looking forward to in the coming week. For a full look at all the new content available for the week of October 1st, including Nightfalls, Crucible modes and challenges, here's everything players need to know.
Weekly nightfall and modifiers
Night strike: Devil's Den – Bonus rank!
Advanced Modifiers:
- champions: Overload and barrier
- Hero Modifiers: Additional shields. The Void and the Arc.
- Galvanized: Fighters have more health and are harder to stun.
- OVERFILL: Linear fusion rifle and kinetic weapons when the player's subclass matches an active Surge item.
- Arah-NO!: When defeated, fallen vandals reveal a web mine at their feet.
- Threat: Arc
- Surge: Solar and the Void
Expert modifiers:
- All previous modifiers.
- Locked equipment: Can't change gear once the mission starts.
Main Modifiers:
- All previous modifiers.
- Together: Base health regeneration is reduced. If next to another player, health regeneration is increased.
- Master modifiers: Locked charge, extra champions and extra shields.
Grandmaster Modifiers:
- All previous modifiers.
- Chaff: Radar is disabled.
- Master modifiers: Extinction, limited respawn, contest, and ongoing enrollment are disabled.

Exotic mission rotation
Bungie has brought various exotic quests that players can complete to earn new rewards, gear, as well as craftable versions of exotic weapons. Like the Raid and Dungeon rotator, it changes weekly.

Raid and dungeon rotation
Originally introduced during Season 17, Bungie features raids and dungeons on a weekly rotation to make them farmable with updated rewards.

Trials of Osiris Adept Weekly Map and Weapon
Saint-14 and Paths of Osiris offer players high-end PvP activity in exchange for powerful rewards, especially for players who go flawlessly and earn a trip to the Lighthouse. Similar to most sellers in Destiny 2Saint-14 has a reputation system that rewards players for climbing the ranks through playing and completing bounties.
