One dead, five injured in France wedding hall attack

THIONIL: One person was killed and five wounded in northeastern France when several masked gunmen opened fire at a wedding ceremony, police sources said on Sunday. Sources suggest that the attack in the town of Thionville in the northeast of the country is connected to a showdown between drug traffickers. The shooting happened in the reception hall on the night from Saturday to Sunday, with about a hundred people. Two people were seriously injured, and one is in critical condition. The perpetrators of the shooting fled the scene.
