In Overwatch 2Mythic Skins are a new form of collectible that can be found inside the Mythic Shop. Essentially, the mythic aspects are additional customization options which can be purchased for mythic skins you own, allowing for bonus levels that can be unlocked with Mythical prisms after you have already unlocked all previous levels of the same skin.

The first set of mythic skins seen in the game since the start of season 13 is the Gilded style, which has also been referred to as Golden aspects. This provides an additional black and gold color palette option for each of the current and previous mythic hero skins, including Spellbinder Widowmaker.

Mythic Prisms can be purchased by opening the Mythic Shop and scrolling down to the Skins section of the store page, which will have all available options ready for preview and purchase by simply clicking on the tab for the hero you wish to purchase it for. Each mythic skin (golden) can be purchased for 10 mythic prisms each (which gives players another option to spend the Mythic Prisms they earn through the Premium Battle Pass) or purchase in the Overwatch Store with real-world currency.

With the addition of the Mythic Skins collectible, there are now three different ways players can choose to spend their Mythical Prisms:

  1. Unlocking Tiers of Mythic hero skins that are available in the Mythic Store
  2. Buying mythic weapons and Mythic Weapon Levels to unlock features like inspect and kill animations
  3. Additional Mythical skin styles by Aspects

For now, the Gilded style is the only mythic skin available in Overwatch 2. However, it looks like more styles will be added as more competitive seasons continue to be released into the game.
