The new events will begin just days after the departure of Infernape the Unrivaled, a seven-star Tera Raid boss. While Infernape can normally be obtained in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by catching and evolving a Chimchar, the Flame Pokemon came with some unique features and awarded the strongest Mark to players who defeated it. With Infernape having Rock type as Tera type, the agile boss was made vulnerable to attacks from Fighting Pokemon. Therefore, Pokémon trainers formed strategies around Kommo-o and Malamar to exploit Infernape's weaknesses. With Infernape now gone from Tera Raid lairs, only time will tell which Pokemon will be featured next.
