File sizes have been revealed for the next January 2025 lineup PlayStation Plus free games The first PS Plus lineup of 2025 brings a trio of games that appeal to fans of superheroes, open-world racing and surreal adventures.
Right at the start of the new year, Sony announced three games that will soon be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers to claim for free, namely Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remasteredand The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. The PS Plus January 2025 lineup is available from Tuesday, January 7 to Monday, February 3, and subscribers on every tier of the service will be able to access these games.

Next in file size ranking for the January 2025 PS Plus lineup is Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remasteredwhich requires a fairly modest 31.55 GB for the PS4 version. It is worth noting that there is no upgrade for the PS5 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remasteredmeaning the open-world pilot doesn't use the more powerful hardware and improved features of the current-gen console. Last but not least is The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxejust demanding 5.10 GB on PS4 and 5.77GB on PS5. The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is an expanded re-telling of the 2013 original and is a formidable indie title due to how it plays with the existential horror concept.
The PS Plus free January 2025 lineup offers a pretty diverse range of games overall, but with two of them essentially being remasters of decade-old titles, it's understandable why some subscribers might they don't feel very excited about them. One can only hope that the rest of the PS Plus additions in 2025 are much stronger.
