PSN is currently down

Numerous players have reported that PlayStation Network is currently inactive, making online services unavailable. This information has been confirmed by Sony, which is currently looking into the PlayStation Network issue.

Fortunately, PlayStation outages aren't too common, although gamers may be frustrated to see another one in 2024. One of the last major PSN outages was earlier this year in July, with others preceding it in April and March.

Sony is aware of the PlayStation disruption

At the time of writing, PlayStation Network services are down for almost everything, including account management, games, social activities, as well as PlayStation Store and PlayStation Video. According to the notifications on the official website, Sony is aware of the issue and is looking for a fix, but the issue is yet to be resolved. Gamers are voicing their frustration all over the internet as the network dropped prime time games for many fans.
