.
Metaphor: ReFantazioHis world is built on the diversity of his people, both in his tribes and in his ideologies. This diversity and the incongruous way in which the people of Euchronia are treated play a crucial role MetaphorHis Tour for the Throne, tying itself to the grassroots of the party. As the protagonist allies himself with members of the seven tribes beyond his own, understanding their different backgrounds helps pave the way for his role as king. This conceit extends to his immediate followers, who fulfill social roles throughout his journey, while demonstrating the societal disparities of the Kingdom's hierarchies. Beyond the purview of the protagonist's direct allies, however, are a host of other supporting characters that make Euchronia feel lived-in, flaws and all.
Tournament for the Throne in Metaphor: ReFantazio sees commoners and nobles alike vying for the crown, with interests among its candidates as varied as the tribes they hail from. Although his minor candidates don't hold a candle to the influence MetaphorLouis or Sanctifex Forden, each has distinct personalities though. Milo, for example, campaigns on the idea that beauty reigns supreme, making him infuriatingly shallow in his worldview. Instead, the paripus Loveless tackles simple politics like free booze for people, later acknowledging how isolated the political scene is. The way the candidates are presented, some good while others authoritarian, makes the cheating and “dirty playing” aspect of the tournament even more interesting, tying their way into the game's combat.

NPCs with distinct motives
As candidates advance through the battles of Metaphorhis political race, it becomes increasingly clear that not everyone is on the protagonist's side. This hostility is paved in every aspect of Metaphor: ReFantazioHis exploration, from NPCs attacking the player's elda status to direct threats from Louis' supporters and the devoted people of Altabury, shows just how deep-rooted Euchronia's prejudice is. Not every secondary character is influenced by the protagonist's noble path, but that doesn't mean they don't get their own character development. NPCs like Monk Captain Gideaux strive to do better after the corruption of the Sanctifex Church is exposed, while even Louis's armored elders, who operate on the same “power above all” wavelength, struggle with the consequences of their ideology when Louis takes things too far.
Batlin, Crierul
One of the most compelling NPCs throughout Metaphorhis journey ends up returning to the side of the protagonist, not out of fanaticism, but out of respect for the truth. Batlin, who acts as Grand Trad's crier, ends up following the protagonist's pursuits during the Royal Tournament, scrambling to report the candidates' results. Although he is a holy crier, the revelations he experiences as the political race progresses help him adapt to the evils of the world of Euchronia, such as the pillaging of holy relics from the Mustari people at the behest of the church. After the events on Virga Island, he sees the merits of the protagonist's path, helping to support him from afar by conveying the truth to the masses, no matter how hopeless it sounds.
Fabienne and Grius
Of Grand Trad's other supporting NPCs, Fabienne is a compelling character who manages to maintain a presence despite not being a direct social connection/connection. As the owner of the Hushed Honeybee Inn, she fulfills her role as a mother figure to Maria while doing her best to keep the party comfortable. The Honeybee Inn acts as a refuge during Grand Trad's more tumultuous moments, its hospitality a reminder of the goodness present even in the capital's more “downtrodden” places. The trust he has in the party helps his clients, who even come from many tribes, feel supportive of the party's efforts, strengthened by their connection to Grius, who Metaphor be careful not to forget through references from the team.
Following Metaphorend, the protagonist's ability to converse with the people of Grand Trad a year into his regency is a great way to The title NPCs are even more accentuated. Here players can talk not only with the party and direct followers of the protagonist, but also with former candidates, Charadrius bosses, merchants and other familiar townspeople. Getting clear on what's changed over the past year and what's stayed the same, from Lina's love of glove runners to the unfortunate discrimination that continues, albeit on a smaller scale, on the capital's streets shows Metaphor'The focus of change is a gradual process. Its NPCs are a diverse lot, adding to Euchronia's status as a Kingdom where many live, capable of being more accepting than it once was.
