When it comes to Team Emilia, the Royal Selection candidate camp is filled with diverse individuals who each offer different attributes that aid the half-elf in her growing ambitions. While many excel in their respective roles within the group, each member has demonstrated their capabilities in battle, with some being among the strongest individuals of all Re: Zero.

11 Petra Leyte

A young maid with no combat experience

Despite being an ardent follower of Subaru Natsuki, one of the leaders of Team Emilia, Petra Leyte's expertise lies in care and service, working as a housekeeper at Roswaal Manor. Despite being involved in the Arlam Village attack, which saw Subaru and Rem defend Petra and her friends from a pack of witch beasts, the young maid stays out of the action.

As one of Roswaal L. Mathers' handmaidens, Petra contributes to Team Emilia in other ways than using brute force. When shown, Petra's help and effort was beneficial to the cause, despite her jealousy of Emilia due to Subaru's crush.

10 Otto Suwen

A trader turned advisor who can communicate with animals

Starting out as a trader who gets tangled up in Subaru's mess, Otto has become a valuable asset to Team Emilia, acting as the group's political advisor. Although not known as a warrior, Otto possesses the divine protection of soul language, allowing him to converse with creatures in their animal language.

While handy for enlisting the help of nearby animals, Otto's Divine Protection doesn't prove as useful when it comes to combat. Despite his shortcomings, Otto makes up for his lack of brute strength by proving to be a wise mind who advises Emilia.

9 Subaru Natsuki

A loyal lover with the witch of envy by his side

In Re: ZeroSubaru has become Emilia's number one ally, defending her no matter what danger arises. In the beginning, Emilia often saves Subaru when the protagonist finds his way into Lugunica. However, over time, Subaru has proven himself to be a worthy knight who can protect his beloved.

With his Return by Death power given to him by the Witch of Envy, Satella, Subaru was able to save Emilia from death on several occasions, helping to increase her standing in the royal selection contest. However, the Subaru still lacks power. It is almost useless in battle without Satella's intervention.

8 RAM

An Oni sister who is an expert in wind magic

The pink-haired maid Ram is one of the original members of Team Emilia, working as Roswaal's servant at Roswaal Manor, where Emilia lives. Although often prickly towards Emilia due to her loyalty to Roswaal, Ram became an influential member of the team, particularly in the Sanctuary arc.

While Ram may not be as powerful as her sister Rem when at full strength, the demi-human still uses her powers of clairvoyance and wind magic. Ram has become quite adept at using wind magic, which becomes her primary offensive tool in battle.

7 Frederica Baumann

A demi-human servant who can transform into a beast

As Roswaal's longtime servant, Frederica Baumann has been a longtime member of Team Emilia, although the character first appears in season 2. She is the sister of Garfiel Tinzel, and the pair possess demi-human powers, allowing them to turn into beasts.

In Frederica's case, the maid can evolve into a leopard monster, using her ability in her fight against Elsa Granhiert throughout Season 2. Despite her brother's power being seemingly stronger, Frederica is a high-level battle without afraid to throw it against powerful enemies.

6 Rem

A defunct maid who is powerful at her peak

Due to being in a coma after being attacked by Regulus Corneas and Lye Batenkaitos of the Witch Cult, Rem was out of action for a long time. Despite this, Rem has displayed a peak level of power that rivals many powerful people on Team Emilia. Whenever Rem finds himself in danger, the demi-human can summon an Oni Horn, allowing him to gain super strength.

In her battle with a pack of magical beasts, Rem dismantles her enemies with her ultra strength while simultaneously saving Subaru and the innocent children of Arlam Village. Although Rem falls victim to the Witch Cult while using her unique ability, she puts up a respectable fight against two menacing foes.

5 Emilie

The team leader can use spirits and magic

At the head of Emilia's team is the half-elf herself, around whom a large part Re: Zero it spins around. As the group leader, Emilia plays her part in advancing her position in the royal selection race, even if it comes with conflict.

On numerous occasions, against opponents such as Granhiert, Sirius Romanée-Conti, and other members of the Cult of the Witch, Emilia has shown her competence in using ice magic. In battle, Emilia has a variety of ice moves up her sleeve that get better and better as she continually finds herself in more chaos.

4 Garfield Tinzel

This irritable demi-human can become a full-fledged monster

Introduced as one of Season 2's many antagonists, the headstrong Garfiel immediately showed his prowess in battle. When Subaru and Emilia entered the Sanctuary, Garfiel felt threatened by their presence and was willing to protect the Sanctuary and its citizens from harm.

With his transformation into a towering tiger and his divine protection of the spirits of the land, Garfiel presents an all-powerful challenge to Subaru. The protagonist defeats him only through collaboration and a sincere heart-to-heart that saw Garfiel overcome his past. Later in Re: ZeroGarfiel, with the help of his sister Frederica, defeats Granhiert in an all-out brawl at Roswaal Manor. Garfiel's semi-human abilities propel him to victory.

3 Beatrice

A hard-nosed spirit that uses Yin magic

Beatrice is doing her thing in seasons 2 and 3, showing a lot of growth from being a recluse at Roswaal Manor. As a disciple of the Sorceress of Greed, Echidna, Beatrice took on many attributes and traits from her master, including her mastery of magic.

Beatrice's expertise in rare Yin magic is impressive, her unwavering spirit showing her various abilities in her contest with Granhiert. In the most incredible show of strength, Beatrice, along with Subaru and Emilia, takes out the Great Rabbit, trapping the great witch beasts. In doing so, Beatrice uses Al Shamak to ward off destructive enemies, showing true strength and versatility in a dangerous situation.

2 Roswaal L. Mathers

A two-faced mage with mastery of various types of magic

Roswaal is a polarizing figure among Re: Zero fans. However, there is no doubt that Emilia's benefactor is a significant threat in combat. In the years before the current events of Re: ZeroRoswaal has demonstrated a high level of mage mastery, displaying all kinds of magic when encountering enemies.

Shortly before the events of Re: ZeroRoswaal confronted Puck, holding his own despite Puck's immense talents. During Season 2, when the character emerges as a vengeful villain, Roswaal takes on Puck again, this time with the addition of his beloved Ram. In the climactic moment, Roswaal confronts the pair in a fierce battle in the Sanctuary, showing off his unparalleled magical abilities.

1 Puck

A loving spirit that stirs up anger if necessary

While Puck may be a kind and carefree spirit, the character is an incredibly strong person who will stop at nothing to protect Emilia, the girl he considers his daughter. Like Beatrice and Roswaal, Puck is a disciple of Echidna, the Witch of Greed placing extraordinary power in Puck.

While Puck is a master user adept at using all the different types, fire is Puck's greatest weapon. The spirit is renowned as one of the greatest flame bearers. However, Puck's greatest power lies in his ability to transform into the Beast of the End, a giant monster capable of unleashing devastating power. Only Reinhard van Astrea proved to match Puck's true form, the spirit being a handful to deal with when angry.
