Sam Kerr’s date with Kristie Mewis gives intimate look at adorable romance

Sam Kerr and Kristie Mewis are too cute.

The Matildas captain and her American partner have got fans all gooey inside after sharing a series of intimate photos from their special Paris rendezvous.

Kerr’s year was plunged into misery last month when she suffered a long-term knee injury during a freak training incident.

But Mewis has got the smile back on her face.

Kerr and Mewis have both shared very private photos from the bedroom of their ritzy Paris hotel pad while celebrating Mewis’ birthday.

Mewis turned 33 on Sunday and Kerr went all out to dish love on her partner.

“Happy birthday to my love. No one keeps me more entertained than you,” she wrote on Instagram.

The couple continued to flood their Intagram pages with adorable moments shared during their Paris date — giving fans a behind the scenes look that they’ve never previously been given.

Among the highlights from the photos shared were a clip of the couple with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

The most risque photos showed Mewis in a dressing robe and another clip showed the West Ham star jumping onto a bed that Kerr had decorated with rose petals.

The couple’s relationship has been widely celebrated and they confirmed their engagement in November after keeping the news secret for several months.

Mewis in December packed up her life in the United States and moved to London to be closer to Kerr.

Mewis transferred to West Ham in a move that put her in the same city as where Kerr’s Chelsea team is based out of north London.

The pair are reportedly living together and previously discussed their search for the perfect apartment to share.

A recently released documentary about the USWNT’s trainwreck World Cup campaign showed Mewis and Kerr talking about how they were “done” with the long-distance part of their relationship.

The romance has certainly softened the blow of Kerr’s injury disaster forcing her out of the Matildas’ 2024 Paris Olympics campaign.

The Matildas have not officially ruled Kerr out of their Olympics campaign, which begins July 26.
