In an interview with 4Gamer, Masayoshi Kikuchi, the same director who worked on the original Radio Jet Set games, teased some news for the franchise's 25th anniversary. “I'm still working on a new one Radio Jet Set game. Incidentally, 2025 marks 25 years since Radio Jet Setso I'm thinking about how to celebrate that,” Kikuchi said. While he didn't explicitly say that something new would be shown for the anniversary, he hinted at Radio Jet Set the reboot was revealed during The Game Awards 2023.
