At the same time, My Hero Academia fans were also able to see the Hero rankings of many characters My Hero Academia chapter 431. Of course, there are some heroes that are expected where they belong, but a lot of others have shockingly low rankings for one reason or another.
6
Nejire Hado
Hero Rank: 7th
Nejire Hado is one of the strongest heroes that ever existed in the world My Hero Academia. Along with Mirio and Tamaki, she is part of the UA Big 3. Based on this alone, fans know that Nejire has the potential to actually be taller.
Nejire should be, at the very least, a top five hero, and he has the incredible ability to pull that off. Fans also know that she has a very charming personality and as such, they have nothing against her. Nejire may not have had time to establish himself as Mirio and will eventually go on to claim higher positions. But for a genius like her, even a rank of up to 7 seems too low.
5
Kirishima
Hero Rank: 12th
Kirishima is a very powerful hero and fans have always expected great things from him. In fact, he is easily one of the strongest in UA's Class 1A. Kirishima is Japan's number 12 hero, which, while impressive, doesn't actually reflect his strength. Kirishima can easily go higher and claim a spot in the top 10 heroes in the country.
That said, there's actually a reason why he's not ranked higher. According to him, he is only now going solo, which means he will have his chance to shine brighter and claim higher positions.
4
Tamaki
Hero Rank: 18th
Tamaki, another member of the UA Big 3, has a pretty shocking ranking and fans are revealed to be the #18 Hero in Japan. He is one of the Big Three AUs, along with Mirio and Nejire. The fact that it's not even in the top 10, or even the top 15, is frankly shocking.
Tamaki should be floating in the top 10 and possibly even higher. His Quirk is incredibly versatile and his abilities are frighteningly powerful. Let's hope that in the future it will become even stronger and claim higher positions.
3
Tokoyami
Hero Rank: 17th
Fumikage Tokoyami is a character where fans expected him to be much taller My Hero Academia. In the manga, fans saw him go head-to-head with the likes of Redestro and later even, to some extent, All For One. His power is absolutely incredible and all he was when he was still a student.

Horikoshi finally reveals the top 10 heroes in Japan. The ranking is shocking.
It's been 8 years since then and it's probably grown tremendously in terms of power. Despite everything, he is the #17 Hero in Japan, which is ridiculously low for him. It should be floating in the top 10 positions.
2
Ochako Uraraka
Hero Rank: 25th
Ochako is his heroine My Hero Academia and definitely a very powerful hero as well. Fans know her as one of the most prominent figures in the world right now, and a large part of that is due to her advisor Quirk, with which she changed the society of heroes in general.
Ochako has a very low hero rank of 25, despite possessing tremendous strength and even an awakened Quirk. What is certain is that her ranking should be much higher regardless of her work with Quirk Counseling.
1
Katsuki Bakugo
Hero Rank: 15th
Undoubtedly, the most shocking hero is in the ranking My Hero Academia it's Bakugo's. It was revealed in My Hero Academia chapter 431 that Bakugo is the 15th hero of Japan. Bakugo debuted as the #4 hero, which while impressive, didn't even really reflect his strength considering he's definitely among the strongest, if not the strongest in his own right.
However, due to his bad attitude and unpleasant behavior, Bakugo continued to fall in the ranks and eventually reached the 15th rank. Despite everything, Bakugo's rank should definitely be higher and , hopefully, fans will see him rise through the ranks in the future.
