Bloober Team director and designer Wojciech Piejko confirmed that the developer is “always open” to making more Silent Hill games, be it remakes or a brand new entry.
When it was first revealed that the Bloober team would be developing the recently released remake of Silent Hill 2, it's fair to say that most fans weren't exactly happy. While Bloober has plenty of experience with the genre, its previous games like Layers of Fear and The Medium weren't exactly subtle with their themes and scares, a must for Konami's iconic psychological horror.

While Piejko and Bloober are apparently very happy to work on the Silent Hill series going forward (even if the statement is a little too general to take too much to heart), it's worth noting that the decision will ultimately rest with Konami. which said nothing about other remakes or games involving Bloober. Given how well the Silent Hill 2 remake did, it seems highly likely that he'll be interested.
