Solo leveling Season 2 started with a bang, unlike the slow start of Season 1. In the first episode of Season 2, Sung Jin-woo visited Sung Jinah's high school, where he had a conversation with the person in charge. Once they finished talking about Sung Jin-woo's sister, the woman asked if she could help a struggling student make the right choice.

Sung Jin-woo agreed to the request and decided to talk to the young lady. Upon meeting her, he discovered that she had previously participated in one of his raids. He tried to talk to her, but she seemed to have made up her mind. So Sung Jin-woo decided to take a different approach. He used his connections to gain access to a lower-ranking gate. He thought he would change his mind after seeing how dangerous it could be.

However, nothing could prepare Sung Jin-woo for what came next. When they entered the gate, it changed color and turned into a red gate. It was soon revealed that it was impossible to leave the dungeon until the main boss was defeated or a dungeon break occurred. As they walked forward, Sung Jin-woo and the rest of the group were met by ice elves. These creatures were intelligent and used various tactics to take down their enemies.

It wasn't long before the Ice Elves killed one of the attackers. To avoid this problem, Kim Chul, the A-ranked hunter, decided to form two groups. He was confident in his abilities and wanted to keep out the weak in order to increase his chances of survival and climb the ranks of the White Tiger Guild. Once the groups were formed, there they went in separate directions. Sung Jin-woo and his companions traveled through the forest while the other group headed for the open ground.

Sung Jin-woo told his companions not to ask him about anything, a strange request to which they reluctantly agreed. As they passed through the ice bear territory, Sung Jin-woo showed his skills and eliminated most of them with ease. He then left the group in a safe place with food and went off to find more polar bears to kill. Finally, he came across a cave that was full of ice bears. To preserve his stamina, Sung Jin-woo used necromancy to summon fallen spirits.

As expected, they made short work of the enemies, but fought against their leader. The massive ice bear managed to decimate most of the soldiers except for Igris. The latter's strength and speed made short work of the enemy. Elsewhere, Kim Chul's group was nearly annihilated by the Ice Elves. The malevolent creatures toyed with their opponents before finally taking them down. Unfortunately, the group was removed in the blink of an eye.

Solo Leveling season 2 episode 2 will be released on January 12, 2025. The episode is titled “I Assume You Are Unaware”. In this episode, fans will have the opportunity to see Sung Jin-woo in action against the Ice Elves. It's pretty obvious that the Ice Elves are a bigger threat than the Ice Bears. So, the hero will have to be alert to face the threat. Not only does he have to protect himself, but he also has to make sure his companions are safe. None of them stood a chance against the ice bears, so it's plausible to assume that the ice elves will annihilate them.
