Honkai: Star RailAglaea and the newest Trailblazer variant will debut as the first batch of Remembrance characters. The developers partially explained the mechanics of Memosprites, Garmentmaker, and Mem in the Paean of Era Nova special program. For some players, however, this information only confirms what they have known for months about these summon units from the large amount of leaks about them. Some rumors have also suggested Memosprites attached to a beloved member of the Honkai: Star Railhis existing cast and a new character.

HSR carefully teased information about Memosprites in versions 2.7 and 3.0. Here's what the developers have confirmed so far.

  • Memosprites can be targeted: Some allies can upgrade and heal Memosprites, and enemies can damage them.
  • Memosprites have individual abilities: The developers explained during the 3.0 live stream that Memosprites have an energy bar that gains a charge when the main character does specific actions, such as using their ability or ending. When filled, the Memosprite can use its abilities. The maker's ability involves attacking a target and its adjacent units. Meanwhile, Mem can fully advance an ally's turn and boost her attack with True DMG, which ignores all buffs and debuffs to deal direct damage to the opponent. This works similarly to Bronya and Sunday's action advancement abilities.
  • Some Memosprites have limited time on the battlefield: The developers also explained that Aglaea's Memosprite eventually leaves the battlefield after several turns. It's unclear if Mem will do that as well. In any case, players can always resume them through the main character's Skill.

Mem's skills and talents leaked

According to a leaked screenshot from Dim, Mem's action-advancing ability is called “Lemme! Help yourself!” The information, which is corroborated by fellow trusted HomDGCat, also revealed that Memosprite from Remembrance Trailblazer has some additional abilities.

  • Memosprite Skill – Wicked! Problems!: Mem deals minor ice DMG to enemies that bounces four times and deals extra damage to all enemies at the end.
  • Memosprite Talent – Friends! Together!: This increases the CRIT stats of all allies when Mem is on the field. The talent also allows Mem to use Baddies! Problems! during their action when their gauge is less than 100%. When their charge fills up, they will immediately take action to use “Lemme! Help yourself!”
  • Memosprite Talent – Go, Mem, Go: Mem charge immediately fills up to 50% after being summoned.
  • Talent Memosprite – No… Sorry: When Mem leaves the battlefield, Trailblazer advances his action by 25%.

The untapped talents of the garment maker

Garmentmaker seems to only have the Thorned Snare attack as their only ability, according to leaks from HomDGCat and Dim. However, their talents more than make up for their lack of a secondary skill. Some of these descriptions were discussed during the Paean of Era Nova live stream, but have not yet been described as Memosprite Talents.

  • Talent Memosprite – A Body Prepared by Tears: Garmentmaker increases her SPD after attacking her enemy with Aglaea's “Stitch”. Additionally, they will prioritize harmful enemies marked with Seam Stitch.
  • Memosprite Talent – The Speeding Summer: The maker acts immediately after Aglaea calls them.
  • Memosprite Talent – Dry Grass Bloom: Aglaea gains 20 energy when Garmentmaker leaves the fight.

Traces of Memosprites Leaks

The Memosprite screenshots posted by Dim also showed Mem and Garmentmaker occupying two minor trail spots in the Trailblazer and Aglaea tree for Memosprite Skill and Memosprite Talent. It appears that these tracks will occupy slots that would otherwise be allocated to the main drive. Therefore, players can expect to farm the same amount of materials that they have always farmed for other characters.

Possible Future Memosprites

A popular one HSR Leaker Uncle Guoba indicated that Castorice may launch in 3.2 and that their Memosprite will be a Dragon. A “Dark March 7th” could be a possible Memosprite in future builds, according to Dim. These leaks don't go into much detail, as playtest data for these possible future Memosprites is still incomplete. There's no guarantee they'll come into play either.
