Diablo 4: Vessel Of Hatred – 7 Best Legendary Skins For Spiritborn

These legendary skins are some of the strongest options for the Spiritborn in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.

The Spiritborn is one of the most powerful classes in the game and has access to a multitude of powerful build options. Below, we'll go over some of the best Spiritborn builds, as well as each of their strengths and weaknesses.

5

Quill Volley Eagle

A Spiritborn who uses Quill Volley to launch electrified feathers.

Pro

Cons

  • Strong AoE

  • Big damage

  • Decent mobility

  • It is based on several unique

  • Complicated resource management

Quill Volley is one of Spiritborn's best AoE attacks, shooting a wave of quills into a cone that deals decent damage. This build aims to empower Quill Volley as much as possible, making it a top ability that can be sent endlessly for extremely high and consistent damage.

This is done through several unique items, making this build somewhat difficult to prepare. However, once you get all the gear and legendary skins you need, you'll quickly see what makes this build so powerful.

While only two Uniques are absolutely necessary for this build, Kepeleke's Staff and Midnight Sun's Ring, there are a few others that make it much easier to play, namely Yen's Blessing and Ebewaka's Harmony.

When combined with high enough resource generation as well, Rod of Kepeleke and Ring of the Midnight Sun give you essentially infinite vigor, allowing you to endlessly spam Quill Volleys. This combo is used in a number of different versions of Spiritborn, but is definitely most powerful with Quill Volley.

4

Crushing Hand Gorilla

A Spiritborn in heavy armor equipped posing.

Pro

Cons

  • Good mobility

  • Great damage reduction

  • Good DPS

  • Vulnerable application is missing

  • Heavy tool requirements

In many ways, the Crushing Hand build is very similar to the Quill Volley build we discussed earlier. However, there are a few key differences that set these versions apart, both offering fun, fast and powerful playstyles.

If Quill Volley shoots feathers in a wave in front of you, Crushing Hand hits a big AoE around you, giving you a little more cover in terms of hitting as many monsters as possible at once. Additionally, with the Rampant Crushing Hand trait, Crushing Hand's damage will scale based on your Resolve stacks, giving the build plenty of built-in damage reduction.

This build also uses the Rod of Kepeleke and Ring of the Midnight Sun combo for infinite and permanent Critical Strike Core abilities. However, this build definitely lacks the Vulnerable app, so its damage potential is somewhat limited compared to the Quill Volley build. Still, it's a very strong alternative that suits a different playstyle.

3

Stinger Centipede

A Spiritborn and animal companions posing on the loading screen.

Pro

Cons

  • Unique play style

  • High damage output

  • Good final scaling

  • It requires careful resource management

  • The unique play style may not be for everyone

The Stinger Centipede build centers around the Spiritborn's Stinger Core ability. In its default state, the Stinger deals damage to enemies in a small area and poisons them for a short time. However, when you combine it with Pestilence's Legendary Skin, things start to get more interesting.

The Pestilence aspect causes the Stinger to unleash a pestilential swarm, which then travels outward from you in an expanding circle. These Pestilent Swarms can hit the same enemy multiple times as they travel; depending on the size of the enemy's hitbox, you can hit them with the same Pestilent Swarm five or more times.

Here are some of the most powerful unique items for Spiritborn in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.

To capitalize on Pestilent Swarm's multi-party capabilities, this build also uses Vortex or Godslayer Crown to keep enemies grouped together, maximizing the potential for Pestilent Swarms to hit them.

This build is very reminiscent of the Hammerdin-style builds from Diablo 2 or the Blessed Hammer build from Diablo 3. If you're a fan of this playstyle, the Stinger Centipede build is definitely the one you should try first.

2

Touch Of Death Centipede

Official art of Spiritborn channeling Centipede, fighting undead creatures.

Pro

Cons

  • High single target and AoE damage

  • Good survival

  • Good final scaling

  • It is based on several rare Uniques

  • High statistical requirements

The Touch of Death Centipede build is the second on this list to focus on poison, but it plays much differently than the aforementioned Stinger build. It uses Touch of Death to rack up tons of poison damage on enemies before bursting through with critical hits, which are guaranteed thanks to the Rod of Kepeleke and Ring of Midnight Sun combo.

This build relies on Insatiable Aspect to grant these bursts, as well as Jacinth Shell to help reset the cooldowns of your other abilities, such as Hunter, Scourge, and Armored Hidea. Ebewaka's Harmony and Yen's Blessing are also used as they provide extremely powerful effects that fit into a lot of different Spiritborn builds.

With five different uniques used for this build, it's definitely one of the hardest to prepare, but the payoff is worth the effort, especially if you like poison or DoT builds.

1

Jaguar rake

A Spiritborn summoning Jaguar Spirit through The Hunter Ultimate skill.

Pro

Cons

  • Very high damage

  • Easy play style

  • Decent mobility

  • Heavy tool requirements

  • Repetitive play style

The Rake Jaguar build is another build to use the Rod of Kepeleke and Ring of the Midnight Sun combo, but the playstyle here is quite different from the others on this list. This build takes advantage of Rake's ability to generate Ferocity to stack extremely high attack speed, conjuring massive waves of attacks with Rake's claws.

This build epitomizes Jaguar's playstyle, with high attack speed, tons of hits, and decent mobility. He also uses the Jaguar for both the main and secondary options for the Hall of Spirits, which are then boosted with the unique Helm of Loyalty Mantle.
